Celebrating STAR WARS

In the wake of Celebration Anaheim 2020 being cancelled Disney have announced that the Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, originally due to be held on August 27th, has now been postponed. In a brief update on the Disney Parks Blog they state "In light of the recent cancellation of Star Wars Celebration, we are making the decision to postpone Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite. Please visit Disneyland.com/starwarsnite for details. For more information on Star Wars Celebration please visit starwarscelebration.com " The Star Wars Nite link takes you to Disneyland's Travel Information page where it says "We are working on rescheduling options and hope to have more to share at a later date." We've known for a while that Star Wars Celebration was unlikely to take place in August, now we have official confirmation. In a statement posted to the official Celebration website and the Star Wars Celebration social media channels, ReedPOP officially announced the cancellation of this year's Celebration along with the news that Celebration would return to Anaheim in 2022. The statement in full reads: To our Star Wars Celebration Fans and Friends, At Star Wars Celebration, the health and safety of our fans, attendees, exhibitors, guests and staff is always our number one priority.
