Vader: Immortal to Premiere at Star Wars Celebration
Lord Vader. Rise! Yesterday ILMxLAB dropped a surprise announcement; Vader Immortal is coming to Celebration Chicago next month! The Oculus Quest VR series is due to launch later this year but you can play it first at Star Wars Celebration! At 1:30pm on Friday April 12th, the creative team behind the VR series will take to the Celebration Stage to reveal new details and discuss the making of the virtual reality project. Written by David S. Goyer ( The Dark Knight Trilogy ) the series, which is in canon and takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope , picks up after the events of ILMxLAB and The Void's Secrets of the Empire and finds the player on Mustafar, lightsaber in hand as a new Star Wars adventure begins. After the panel, ILMxLAB and Oculus will open a booth on the show floor where fans can experience an interactive demo of first chapter that will bring them face to face with Darth Vader himself.
