Celebrating STAR WARS

We are just 200 days away from Star Wars Celebration Japan! I honestly can't believe how fast Celebration is coming up on us. It felt like a life time away earlier this year and now it feels like it will be here in no time! To mark the start of the 200 day countdown, the official Twitter account posted this short video earlier today: スター・ウォーズ セレブレーション ジャパン2025まで… ||◤￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣◥|| 　 　 あと 𝟐 𝟎 𝟎 日💥 ||◣＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿◢|| #スターウォーズ 旋風が ついにここ日本で巻き起こる！ 金曜＆日曜の単日券チケット好評発売中🎫 ➤ https://t.co/se6cV2N8Pv #SWCJ pic.twitter.com/ehIZORGcud — スター・ウォーズ公式 (@starwarsjapan) September 30, 2024 And now that we are just 200 days away I really need to get this blog back up to date! I am sorry that I haven't been updating recently. I got a new job over the summer and real life took over for a while but now it's time to catch up on everything that I missed and get all the Celebration Preparation guides updated for Tokyo over the rest of the year! First the big two announcements! On August 5th Star W...

What a few months it's been. It's been a little quiet on the old Celebration front over the last few months so this blog has been pretty inactive but yesterday certainly changed that with the announcement of Star Wars Nite at Disneyland for the opening day of Celebration! Over the last few months we've had the final season of Resistance , the first season of The Mandalorian , The Rise of Skywalker has brought the (first) saga to its conclusion, and the final season of The Clone Wars is less than a month away. We're about seven months away from Star Wars Celebration Anaheim and, as yesterday showed, we can probably expect the news to start trickling in now before the floodgates really open in the summer. It was about seven months ahead of Chicago that David Collins and Amy Ratcliffe were announced as the hosts of the Galaxy and Behind the Scenes Stages so hopefully we can expect a similar announcement soon. Over at the official Celebration website application...

For the first time at Celebration the fan clubs are joining forces! Announced this week by the official Celebration website , the 501st, the Rebel Legion, the Mandalorian Mercs, The Dark Empire, the Saber Guild, the Droid Builders, and the Galactic Academy are teaming up to present a unified, interactive fan experience in Chicago. Showcasing everything from costuming to large scale props, droid building to performances and character interaction, the exhibit will take fans into the galaxy far, far away and show the love of the Star Wars community. Plus there's games! Hunt for the Death Star Plans, watch the Trooper Olympics, go bounty hunting, and, of course, take part in the famous Droid Hunt! This will be an exhibit long remembered, so make sure you check it out on the show floor in Chicago! UPDATED - Here's a map of the Fan Club area courtesy of the Mandalorian Mercs Facebook group ! And don't miss the droid races on Friday and Saturday from 14:00-16:00!

I was debating whether to post this now or wait for tonight's autograph updates to drop and cover it all at once. The last week has been a busy one for me so I didn't get chance to post the latest guest announcements when they were announced last Wednesday (but I made sure to tweet about it, even if I can't post here straight away I will always share the latest updates on Twitter so please give me a follow). That wouldn't have been so bad if it was just an autograph update, but so much news dropped last week (along with a few bits I needed to catch up on) so I was pretty much up until 2am last night getting this place up to date. So without any more waffling on from me, here's all the latest updates! Ray Park, Matt Lanter and Tiya Sircar have been announced as the latest guests for Celebration Chicago. Photo Ops and autographs for all three new guests, and Ashley Eckstein, are now all on sale via Epic Photo Ops . EA Games and Respawn will be rev...

It's not just the major licensees that will have a presence on the show floor in Chicago, it's the fans as well! Fan groups from all around the world will have tables at Star Wars Celebration with subject matter ranging from figure collecting to costuming to droid building. These fans will be sharing their hobbies and passions with other fans all five days of Celebration. The fan tables this year will feature representatives from; All Things R2 California Vintage Star Wars Collectors Club Chicago Force Cosplayers of the Old Republic Empire State Star Wars Collectors Club Fantha Tracks Flying Solo at Star Wars Celebration Indiana Star Wars Collecting Community It's a Small Galaxy Far, Far Away Japan Star Wars Art Alliance Jedi Assembly Jedi Order Japan Kentucky Star Wars Collectors Club (KSWCC) Lightsaber Team Line Force Fan Club MetaNerdz NorthEast Star Wars Collectors Club NESWCC Norwich Star Wars Club UK Order 416 Pennsylvania Star Wars Collectin...
