Badge Art Revealed

Image
Just a quick post for this one - the badge art has been revealed for Star Wars  Celebration Europe 2023 and OMG it is simply gorgeous! A lot of people weren't happy with the switch from characters to locations last year and it looks like ReedPOP heard them loud and clear as this may be the best looking set of badges I've ever seen for Star Wars  Celebration! One thing's for sure - I'm gonna be buying a fair few badge art shirts based on this and I am definitely going to be trying to get the full badge set if they sell it! Here's hoping Luke is the 4-Day badge for ROTJ 40th!

Surprise Eighth Wave of Guests Adds Michelle Ang and Simon Kassianides

Image
Well what have we here? Two more special guests have been added to the Star Wars  Celebration line up! Michelle Ang (Omega) and Simon Kassianides (Axe Woves) joined the guest list on Friday, bringing the total number of guests to a most impressive 40 in London next month. Honestly, I'm a little surprised they haven't added a duo photo op for Michelle Ang and Dee Bradly Baker. There's still time for that one to be added to the schedule so fingers crossed they're able to do so. As always, I have updated the Celebration Guest 2023 page with prices, days appearing, and links to the Official Pix pre-order pages. And you can use these links to jump directly to the Official Pix pre-order and send in service .

Key Art Revealed for Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023

Image
Last week (I know, I'm late!) Star Wars Celebration revealed the official Key Art for Star Wars  Celebration Europe 2023. Commemorating both the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi  and Celebration's long awaited return to London, the artwork features the second Death Star and the rebel fleet above the London skyline. In addition to the gorgeous new artwork ReedPOP confirmed that they are once again partnering with Official Pix , who will be running the autograph area in London. Star Wars Celebration will be taking place over the Easter weekend, running Thursday, April 7 to Monday, April 10 2023. Monday adult tickets are still available , along with kids tickets for all 4 days. Given that we're now less than six months away it doesn't look like there will be an official re-seller this year, so please be careful and make sure you trust the seller if you're buying second hand tickets. Time for me to start getting this site up to date!

Celebration Sell Outs! 4-Day Tickets Sold Out in Record Time!

Image
Well that went faster than I ever imagined! Jedi Master badges officially sold out in 32 minutes, though after the first 5-10 minutes this was more a case of them being in people's carts and being processed, with the odd one or two briefly coming back into stock, than them actually being available. That was expected. But 4-Day tickets? That's another story! 4-Day Adult badges for Star Wars  Celebration Europe 2023 officially sold out in 1 hour 15 minutes, blasting passed the previous record of 1 hour 57 minutes set by Celebration Anaheim's original sale back in 2019 (when the event was planned for 2020). I mean, wow! And the sell outs didn't stop there as Saturday Adult tickets sold out in 3 hours 23 minutes. Talking with other fans ahead of the sale I was definitely a lot more conservative in my expectations. Sure, Jedi Master always sells out right away, and I expected 4-Day to go fast, but I never would have said 4-Day and Saturday passes would both sell out faster...
