Planning Your Trip - Passports and Visas

Not gonna lie, it's a little strange writing this for people coming here rather than going to the US! It's not the most exciting part of your holiday but unlike Han Solo you can't just blast your way out of a spaceport so this guide is a quick overview of the passport and visa requirements that are essential for international fans travelling to the London for Celebration.

Passports

Unless you're staying for longer than 6 months, pretty much all you need is a passport.

Your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay.

There are some alternate forms of ID that are also acceptable from some countries (see here) but let's not complicate things.

Visas

Visas are not required if you are coming to the UK from the USA, EU, EEA, Canada, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, and many other countries as long as your stay is less than 6 months.

If you do need to get a visa then please be aware that the process could take anything from a few weeks to a few months so it's always best to start the process as soon as possible.

And that's it. The UK currently has no covid related entry requirements so no testing or proof of vaccination is needed to enter the country. Like I said at the start, it's not an exciting topic but it's one that's essential for your trip if you're coming from abroad. Obviously this is just a very brief overview, so make sure you check the exact requirements for your country.

Safe travels everyone.
