Celebrating STAR WARS

  Lightsaber training is back!! The Saber Guild is hitting the Galactic Senate Stage to teach aspiring young Jedi (and Sith) how to wield the saga's most iconic weapon. Places in the training sessions are first come first served, so if you have an aspiring padawan then make sure you head over to the Galactic Senate Stage to enroll them in the morning. Sessions this year are being held in both Japanese and English with the below schedule. Friday, April 18 Morning Session - 11AM-12PM (Japanese) Afternoon Session - 2PM-3PM (English) Saturday, April 19 Morning Session - 11AM-12PM (Japanese) Afternoon Session - 3PM-4PM (English) Sunday, April 20 Morning Session - 11AM-12PM (Japanese) Afternoon Session - 1PM-2PM (English) If there's one thing kids love it's getting to use a lightsaber so here's a great chance for them to get in on the fun!

  It's the traditional fan club SWAG trade! Taking place on Friday, April 18, members of the seven fan groups (501st, Rebel Legion, Mandalorian Mercs, Saber Guild, Dark Empire, Droid Builders, and Galactic Academy) are welcome to gather together at the TKP Tokyo Bay Makuharui Hall 1F ("Cote d'Azur") for a free SWAG trading event. This is a chance to trade patches, pins and more with fellow group members from around the world as everyone comes together at Celebration. The SWAG trade will be open from 7PM-10PM. Please note that this event is for members only and is not open to the general public. More details can be found here .

  Welcome to the Outer Rim Matsuri (festival)! On outer rim world, not dissimilar to Japan, the fan clubs are coming together for their traditional Star Wars  Celebration bash! Taking place on Saturday, April 19, the Celebration Bash is open to members of the official groups along with their families and friends. That's right, families! For the first time ever the Celebration Bash will welcome all ages for an evening of fun, food, drinks, and entertainment. Tickets to the Bash cost ¥12,000 per adult, ¥3,500 per child (ages 13-17), and ¥2,500 per child (ages 6-12). All tickets include a meal and all-you-can-drink beverages including both alcohol and soft drinks. Adult tickets also include a special event goodie bag containing an original patch, artwork, and more. The event takes place at TKP Tokyo Bay Makuhari Hall, just a short walk from the convention center.   One of the most popular events of the Star Wars  Kids Stage returns for Celebration Europe as the Saber Guild are bringing their popular Lightsaber Academy to London! There will be four training sessions on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and two sessions on Monday. Session 1 - 12:00-12:30 Session 2 - 12:45-13:15 Session 3 - 16:00-16:30 (not on Monday) Session 4 - 16:45-17:15 (not on Monday) Due to the popularity of the Lightsaber Academy participants will be selected via a lottery process. The lottery for Sessions 1 & 2 is open from 10:00-11:00 each day (drawn at 11:15) The lottery for Sessions 3 & 4 is open from 14:00-15:00 each day (drawn at 15:15) After each draw a list of winners will be posted by the stage entrance.   The Bash is back! The UK Garrison and Jedi News have joined together to host this Celebration's Fan Club Bash! Bringing together the 501st, the Rebel Legion, the Mandalorian Mercs, Droid Builders, Saber Guild, the Dark Empire, the Galactic Academy, and Fantha Tracks this highly anticipated event is open to adults only and will take place at Pergola on the Wharf on April 7. Entertainment will be provided with sets from LevelUp Leroy and DJ Elliot, and more to be announced. Tickets to the Bash, which were £66 and included two drinks and meal, have already sold out ! This means that the event sadly will not be opened up to non-members as it has in the past. However, the organizers are talking with the venue to see if there is any further capacity so maybe there's still some hope for those who haven't got tickets yet.

  The Fan Club Bash for Celebration 2022 has been announced! Bringing together the 501st, the Rebel Legion, the Mandalorian Mercs, Droid Builders, Saber Guild, the Dark Empire, and the Galactic Academy this highly anticipated event includes hors d'oeuvres and an open bar (with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available) along with entertainment from The Force Capacitors (aka The Flux Capacitors), DJ Elliot, Darth Elvis, Atomic Blonde, and special surprise guests. The Bash 2022 is for over 18s only and will take place on Thursday, May 26, from 8pm until midnight in the Platinum Ballroom at the Anaheim Marriott hotel. Tickets are currently on sale to all group members for $110 and also include a Lightspeed Lane reservation for the Celebration Store on Thursday, and a silent auction to benefit St. Jude.
