Movie Screenings Accounced for Celebration Chicago!

Movie screenings have been announced for Celebration Chicago! Taking place over four days (no screenings on Saturday) all ten Star Wars movies will be screened at the connected Marriott Marquis hotel. The full schedule is; Thursday Solo 13:00-15:15 Rogue One 15:25-17:30 Friday A New Hope 12:00-14:40 The Empire Strikes Back 14:30-16:40 Return of the Jedi 16:50-19:00 Sunday The Force Awakens 12:00-14:20 The Last Jedi 14:30-16:50 The Phantom Menace 17:00-19:10 Monday Attack of the Clones 12:00-14:25 Revenge of the Sith 14:35-16:55 The screenings are free to anyone with a Celebration badge on a first-come, first served basis. It's not been announced if they will be clearing the screening room between movies but with a only a 10 minute turn around time between movies I'd guessing not. This is it! The panel lotteries are live! Enter here for your chance to be in the room for the biggest announcements and reveals of Star Wars Celebration. Episode IX ! Galaxy's Edge ! The Mandalorian ! The Phantom Menace ! Once you get through the initial queue screen you will be able to select which of the panel lotteries you wish to enter. You can enter any lottery as long as you have a badge valid for entry on that day. All of the lotteries are independent. So entering or winning one does not affect your odds in the others. Save the Rebellion! Save the Dream! Saw Gerrera and More Coming to Celebration

The latest round of Celebration guests were announced last night , and they include a freedom fighter, a Mandalorian, a Naboo captain, and three people who help bring the galaxy to life! Forest Whitaker, Rogue One 's rogue rebel Saw Gerrera will be meeting fans in Chicago. Joining him will be another freedom fighter, The Clone Wars and Rebels Katee Sackhoff, who voices Mandalorian warrior and leader Bo-Katan. Joining the 20th anniversary festivities will be Hugh Quarshie, The Phantom Menace 's Captain Panaka. And finally, fans will be able to meet Lee Towersey, who helped build R2-D2 for the Sequel Trilogy, Josh Lee, who worked on both K-2SO and BB-8, and Matt Denton, electronic design and development supervisor for both The Force Awakens and Rogue One . Jar Jar is Coming! And So is Enfys Nest!

Well this was a surprise! Two sets of guest announcements in one week! We're definitely getting close now. It's the 20th anniversary of The Phantom Menace and Ahmed Best (Jar Jar Binks) is coming to Celebration! Best brought Jar Jar to life in all three prequels and The Clone Wars so it's fantastic to see him returning to Celebration for this milestone. Joining him is one of Star Wars' newest heroes, Erin Kellyman (Enfys Nest), the marauder and freedom fighter from Solo . We're just over a month away, the guest list is looking great, and there's still more to come!

Ray Park and More Heading to Chicago Plus Volunteer with Topps

I'm a bit late with this post but last week we finally got the news that Celebration regular and fan favourite actor Ray Park will be coming to Chicago next month! The star of The Phantom Menace and that cameo in Solo: A Star Wars Story will be signing from Friday to Monday, and yes you can get a team up photo with the voice of Maul, Sam Witwer. Joining him will be Clone Wars star Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), rounding out the core cast of our beloved Clone Wars heroes. And there's plenty of team up photos available for the entire Clone Wars gang! And Rebels star Tiya Sircar (Sabine Wren) brings the Ghost family one step closer to completion. And yes, plenty of team up photo ops there as well. All three of these amazing guests, along with pricing, dates, and direct purchase links, have been added to the Guest page and are available now at Epic Photo Ops . Costing $45.00 the set includes exclusive pins of Qui-Gon Jinn, Darth Maul, Jar Jar Binks, and Watto plus an exclusive shirt featuring the pin art and a 20th Anniversary The Phantom Menace logo! To purchase yours head to ReedPOP's online store , log in, and click "VIEW THE ROAD TO CELEBRATION PAGE". Even if you've not received the email from ReedPOP with your personal log in details (I didn't), you should be able to view the page as long as your log in email matches the one you purchased your Celebration tickets with. Celebrate 20 Years of The Phantom Menace

The first panel has been announced!! The Phantom Menace 20th Anniversary Panel ! Taking place on Monday, April 15th (the one day you can still get tickets for!) on the Celebration Stage, this panel will no doubt feature stars of the first prequel looking back at the making and legacy of Episode I . No further details have been announced, but if it's anything like 2017's 40th anniversary panel we can probably expect a few surprise guests that will make this one of the can't miss panels of Celebration.

Hasbro Black Series Exclusives Announced for Celebration

Picture via TheForce.net Forums The first exclusive is here! Earlier today, at New York Toy Fair, Hasbro announced that they are bringing two exclusive figures to Celebration Chicago in April! The first is an all new figure of Obi-Wan Kenobi from The Phantom Menace , and accompanying him is a re-release of Darth Maul, updated with the new photo real face printing technology that the latest Black Series figures have featured. The figures will come on Celebration exclusive retro card backs based on 1999's The Phantom Menace toy line, featuring the visage of Darth Maul and a striking red and black colour scheme. Both figures will be available as regular retail releases later in the year. Obi-Wan in the main Black Series line this Summer, and Maul in the new Black Series Archive line in Fall. The Emperor Comes to Celebration & Autograph & Photo Ops Sale Date Announced

We are now less than 60 days away from Star Wars Celebration Chicago! Let that sink in for a moment. Less than 2 months until what promises to be the biggest Celebration so far! And with that in mind the Star Wars Celebration have announced three more guests today and confirmed that tickets for all both autographs and photo ops will go on sale Wednesday February 13th at midday PST (that's 2pm Central and 8pm GMT). The official site confirms that if an autograph or photo op session sells out during pre-orders, then it is sold out and there will not be additional sales during the show. So if you know there's someone you have to meet, grab your tickets as quickly as possible, especially for the big names! For any photo ops and autographs that don't sell out ahead of time, you will be able to purchase tickets from Topps on site at Celebration. StarWars.com today revealed more guests who will heading to Chicago, and they include the mighty Chewbacca, Joonas Suotamo! Yes, Joonas is making his Star Wars Celebration this year, alongside Celebration veteran and fan favourite Sam Witwer (Darth Maul)! Joining them will be Greg Grunberg (Snap Wexley); Dave Chapman (Puppeteer - BB-8, Rio Durant & Lady Proxima); Greg Proops (Fode, Jak Sivrak & Garma); Paul Kasey (Admiral Raddus, Ello Asty); Ian McElhinney (General Dodonna); and Orli Shoshan (Shaak Ti) The guest list is really starting to take shape now, and we're still over two months away! I can't wait to see what else they have in store!
