Celebrating STAR WARS

  Fan of craft beers? Then celebrate Star Wars  Celebration returning to London by attending this special Star Wars  themed craft beer event by Brew by Numbers and Emperor's Brewery and featuring a limited edition collaboration from the two breweries! Taking place at Brew by Numbers on Saturday, 8 April, from 7pm until late tickets to this event are £7.50 including an exclusive can of the collaborative craft beer and an additional half pint for you to enjoy at the event. Hosted by the Generation Skywalker podcast and Craft Bear Pin-Up this event will feature giveaways, exclusive merchandise, snacks, and, of course, beer.   The seventh (and final) wave of guests has been revealed for Star Wars  Celebration Europe and it's largely a family affair as Warwick Davis returns and is joined by Annabelle ( Willow 's Mims Ufgood) and Harrison Davis (Pommet the Ewok). Alongside the Davis family, Andor 's Denise Gough brings the Celebration lineup to a close, adding the calculating ISB Agent Dedra  Meero and some much anticipated Andor  representation to the guest list.   The exchange is open! After it initially appeared there wouldn't be an official ticket re-seller this year LYTE is back as the official ticket exchange for Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023. Only sold out tickets can be sold on the exchange so, for now, there's only Jedi Master, 4 Day Adult, and Saturday Adult options. Other ticket types will be added if/when they officially sell out. So, if you can't make it or want a sold out ticket, head on over to Lyte to return/exchange your tickets now!

  Last night the official site set Star Wars  social media ablaze when they posted a short article on 5 Reasons to Go to Star Wars Celebration for the First Time . On the surface, it was just a standard promotional piece listing some of the major highlights of Celebration, like being in the room for new reveals. It's all stuff most Star Wars fans, and certainly anyone reading this blog, already know. But there was one line in the introduction that caught everyone's attention: "And if you can't join us this year, with the next Star Wars Celebration not taking place until 2025, you'll have plenty of time to work on your cosplay, refine your Wookiee roar, and sharpen your lightsaber skills." Yes, the next Star Wars Celebration will take place in 2025! Normally we don't learn the date and location of the next event until the closing ceremony, but last night they casually revealed that Celebration will be taking a break next year whilst still leaving the exact

  Monday saw the sixth wave of guests announced for Star Wars  Celebration, and this week's new additions include Carl Weathers (Greef Karga), Brian Herring (BB-8), Samantha Alleyne (Stormtrooper, Resistance Pilot, and more in the sequel trilogy). Samantha's autograph will be handled a little differently to normal as she will be signing for free (!) with a limited number of tickets being released daily through to February 24. I didn't really know, I guess, what it was like and what's been really amazing is to be able to, when I'm signing autographs or taking photographs, is to be able to meet you, even though if it's just for a second.   Oh wow! This has been a real one-two punch of knockout announcements! Yesterday Star Wars  Celebration announced a wave of special guests from Return of the Jedi  to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the end of the original trilogy. Minutes later they announced that Ahsoka herself, Rosario Dawson, would be meeting fans at the event! And today they added the legendary Billy Dee Williams to the lineup! For the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi  you can now meet Michael Carter (Bib Fortuna), Sean Crawford (Yak Face), Tim Dry (J'Quille), Femi Taylor (Oola), Mike Edmonds (Logray), Mike Quinn (Nien Nunb), Tim Rose (Admiral Ackbar), and Caroline Blakiston (Mon Mothma). Sean Crawford's autograph will be handled a little differently to normal with a limited amount available to be claimed for free each day from February 8-12.   The Bash is back! The UK Garrison and Jedi News have joined together to host this Celebration's Fan Club Bash! Bringing together the 501st, the Rebel Legion, the Mandalorian Mercs, Droid Builders, Saber Guild, the Dark Empire, the Galactic Academy, and Fantha Tracks this highly anticipated event is open to adults only and will take place at Pergola on the Wharf on April 7. Entertainment will be provided with sets from LevelUp Leroy and DJ Elliot, and more to be announced. Tickets to the Bash, which were £66 and included two drinks and meal, have already sold out ! This means that the event sadly will not be opened up to non-members as it has in the past. However, the organizers are talking with the venue to see if there is any further capacity so maybe there's still some hope for those who haven't got tickets yet.

  We have our first Celebration exclusive! During their livestream last week, the Hasbro team revealed the Revenge of the Jedi  Darth Vader that will be available exclusively at Star Wars  Celebration Europe this Easter. Taking inspiration from the original Revenge of the Jedi poster this Vader figure features the red tinted color scheme of the poster and comes in exclusive Revenge of the Jedi  packaging featuring a removable version of the poster that inspired the figure. No word yet on how this figure will be distributed (2019 exclusives were handled via lottery) but it will be available on site unlike last year's pre-order. I've added the figure to the Celebration Vendor Exclusives 2023 page. Hopefully we'll learn more of the exclusives in store for us soon!

We are in the home stretch! Literally 2 months to go until Celebration is back!! Sorry for the lack of updates, between a long delayed trip to Walt Disney World and some big changes to my job the start of this year has been an absolute whirlwind. Whilst I was away the first two ( now three ) waves of guests were announced and we've got the first bits of information on entry to the event. Sure it was just the Will Call hours but the entry guide is now coming together. Still no official re-seller, but a "limited number" of single day tickets were put back on sale at the end of January and have yet to sell out so all days are now available again. We've started to see a few exhibitor's like In Demand Toys confirm their attendance, and several podcasters, including The Resistance Broadcast, Star Wars Explained, and Fantha Tracks, have revealed they will be part of the new Holonet News Stage. Here is everything you know about getting into Star Wars  Celebration and all of the exciting panels an events each morning! The Basics To enter Star Wars Celebration you must have a valid badge (of course!) Everyone will have to go through metal detectors and bag check on entry. Fans are free to come in costume and bring whatever they need, just be aware that the less you have with you, the faster you will clear security. Will Call If you aren't getting your badge in the mail then you will need to collect it from the Will Call counter at Fan Services when you arrive. This is located in the North Events Hall. All tickets purchased after February 12 will need to be collected. Just three weeks in and this is shaping up to be a very solid guest list covering all eras of the Star Wars saga.   Whilst I've been away the first two waves of guests have been announced for Star Wars  Celebration 2023! On January 23rd it was announced that legendary Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) would be attending alongside Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka Tano), Matt Lanter (voice of Anakin Skywalker), Dee Bradley Baker (voice of the Bad Batch and the rest of the clone army), Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon), Vivien Lyra Blair (young Leia), and Indira Varma (Tala Durith). Then, on January 30th, it was revealed that the Chosen One himself, Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker), would be returning to Celebration along with Katee Sackhoff (Bo-Katan Kryze), James Arnold Taylor (voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi), Mads Mikkelsen (Galen Erso), and Denis Lawson (Wedge Antilles).
