Event - The High Republic Fan Meetup

  For light and life. Want to talk all things The High Republic  with your fellow fans? From The Acolyte  and Young Jedi Adventures  to the books and comics that start it all, this is your chance to meet up with people who share your passion for the Republic's golden age. This fan meetup and discussion takes place on Friday, April 18, in the Front Square (which I believe is just down the stairs from the Celebration Hall queuing area) at 5PM.

Fan Events - SWAG & Meetup with The SWAG Crew & SWC Discord Community

  The SWAG Crew and the unofficial Star Wars  Celebration Discord group are teaming up this year to offer five (!!) SWAG and Meetup events throughout Star Wars  Celebration Japan 2025! Whether you have SWAG or not, everyone is welcome at these events which will all take place at the Makuhari Messe convention center (exact location TBC). And each event will have exclusive SWAG! If you've ever been curious about SWAG and want to see some of the incredible patches, pins, and more that fans have made to give and trade then these are events you won't want to miss. Fan Event - Halcyon Past Passenger Meetup

  Attention Halcyon passengers! Have you traveled on the galactic star cruiser? Would you like to meet fellow passengers and share fond memories? Well this is the event for you! Taking place on Sunday, after the close of Star Wars  Celebration this meet up is your chance to meet up with other fans of Disney's short lived immersive experience and share memories and stories of your time aboard. You may even meet fans who were passengers on your voyage. Taking place in the APA hotel lobby a short walk from Makuhari Messe this fan gathering begins at 7PM and is free for all passengers of the Halcyon. If you're interested in attending and would like to learn more then join their group for all the latest details.

Fan Event - Tennessee Star Wars Collector's Club Celebration Japan Meet-Up and SWAG Event

  The Tennessee Star Wars Collector's Club is hosting a Meet-Up and SWAG event for all fans attending Star Wars Celebration. Taking place on Saturday, April 19, at the Makuhari Messenger this free event is open to everyone, not just members of the Tennessee Collector's Club so feel free to go along, make friends, and trade SWAG. The meet-up is set for 4PM but the exact location is still to be confirmed so keep an eye on their event page for the latest updates.

Fan Event - Star Wars Celebration Discord Meetup

The Star Wars Celebration Discord group have announced their now traditional meetup on the eve of Star Wars  Celebration. If you've not already joined the group then I can't recommend it enough. If you have questions about anything to do with Celebration then this group has the answers. I can't over state how much I have relied on them for the information used to create this blog. If it weren't for them I would miss so many of the fan meetups, group photos, and so much more. From Q&A videos on Japan to instant notifications when hotel rooms become available, this group has everything for Celebration fans. You can join them right here! I'll see you in the group! The meet up takes place on Thursday, April 18, at the APA Hotel & Resort Tokyo Bay Makuhari, just a short walk from the convention center, and will run from 9PM to 11PM. Check out the events page in the group for more information as we get closer to Celebration.

Fan Event - Celebration Bash: Outer Rim Matsuri Japan 2025

  Welcome to the Outer Rim Matsuri (festival)! On outer rim world, not dissimilar to Japan, the fan clubs are coming together for their traditional Star Wars  Celebration bash! Taking place on Saturday, April 19, the Celebration Bash is open to members of the official groups along with their families and friends. That's right, families! For the first time ever the Celebration Bash will welcome all ages for an evening of fun, food, drinks, and entertainment. Tickets to the Bash cost ¥12,000 per adult, ¥3,500 per child (ages 13-17), and ¥2,500 per child (ages 6-12). All tickets include a meal and all-you-can-drink beverages including both alcohol and soft drinks. Adult tickets also include a special event goodie bag containing an original patch, artwork, and more. Fan Event - Cantina Japan 2025

  It's our second fan event! Japan's Star Wars fan group, Cantina Japan, welcomes fans from across the world to a fan party of cosplay, SWAG exchange, and all you can eat food and drink at Y's restaurant Kaihinmakuhari. Taking place on Friday, April 18, the first night of Star Wars  Celebration, Cantina Japan is an event for all ages where cosplay and family participation are encouraged. The venue is located just a 10 minute walk from the convention center and runs from 6:30-9:30pm with last orders at 8pm. Tickets are ¥5,000 per adult (¥3,000 for elementary and junior high school students, free for preschoolers) and include all you can eat and drink. All attendees will receive a special badge from the event. Ticket sales are currently closed but  you can read all event details on their Facebook page .

First Fan Event - Not-So-Virtual Cantina Special Edition!

Spencer is always first off the mark with Celebration fan events and this year is no different! The Not-So-Virtual Cantina is a great way for fans arriving in Tokyo a little early to hang out ahead of the main event (or maybe to relax a little if you've already spent a few days exploring Japan or Tokyo Disney). The Not-So-Virtual Cantina Special Edition will take place on Thursday, April 17, from 7pm-10pm and all are welcome. And what a venue they have this time! Hub Kaihimmakuhari, just a 15 minute walk from Makuhari Messe. Tickets for the event cost $100 for adults and $80 for kids under 15 (kids aged 5 and under go free) and will go on sale January 1st at 9am (ET). Tickets include a buffet dinner (with vegan option) and all you can drink alcohol and soft drinks along with an event t-shirt, SWAG bag, and exclusive meet and greets with special Star Wars  guests. Fan Event Round-Up!

  Doing a round up post for these final few fan events! I'm afraid I missed when some of these went on sale so a couple are now sold out, but most are still open for fans wanting to attend! First up, the Blackhorse Beer Mile Crawl . Taking place on Celebration eve, Thursday April 6, this bar crawl will start at 16:00 and run until roughly 21:30 and is open to anyone who wants to do some pre-Celebration mingling with other fans. The crawl starts at Beerblefish Brewhouse. Next, Bib's Bash: A Star Wars Celebration Afterparty . Hosted by the Star Wars  Sessions podcast this afterparty event takes place on Saturday, April 8, at Social Convention from 19:00 and is currently sold old. The Cosplayers of the Old Republic are hosting their traditional COTOR Cantina  at Celebration Europe. Fan Event - Star Wars Celebration Goes Canary Wharf

  With Star Wars  Celebration so close to one of the filming locations of Rogue One it's the perfect time to see where the magic was made. And to do it in costume! Officially cleared with Transport for London,  Star Wars Celebration Goes to Canary Wharf is a fan event where costumes are encouraged as you check out and take photos of Canary Wharf where Rogue One  was filmed. Whilst costumes are highly encouraged (especially the Imperial kind) TFL have requested strictly no blasters and no flash photography on the platform when trains are approaching. Taking place on Saturday, April 9, all entry costs is the price of a tube ticket. The meet up begins at 18:00 and should last a little while as group photos are taken (and to allow people to make it after panels). You can find out all the details at the event's Facebook page .

Fan Event - Boonta Eve 4

From Facebook's largest  Star Wars Celebration fan group  and Star Wars Autograph News comes Boonta Eve 4! Bringing fans of all ages together the day before Celebration, Boonta Eve 4 will feature special guests from cast and crew from across the Star Wars  saga, live podcasts, musical performances, and the return of the Alderaan Idol karaoke competition. Taking place on April 6 at The Breakfast Club in Canary Wharf, Boonta Eve 4 is open to all ages from 3pm to 8pm, and from 3pm to 11pm for fans age 12 and over. Tickets, which will go on sale January 1, cost £30 including an exclusive swag bag and one drink (a special food and drink menu will be available for the event). Fan Event - #Cantina2

In 2016 the first #Cantina event put on a concert for Star Wars  fans with bands, special guests, and limited edition SWAG. With Celebration returning to London, #Cantina2 is aiming to raise the bar with an even bigger musical event at London's O2 Arena! Guests this year include Blues Harvest, Darth Elvis, DJ Elliot, LevelUp Leroy, and ASH! But that's not all! Mike Quinn (Nien Nunb) himself will be joining Blues Harvest on stage and performing! Taking place in the indigo theater at the O2 Arena on Sunday, April 9, this promises to be one not to miss. Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start and you can buy tickets now! VIP tickets are also available including access to the after party hosted by Fantha Tracks and featuring DJ Atomic Blonde. Fan Event - Star Wars Afterparty

  Had a long day at Star Wars  Celebration? Ready for the Afterparty? For the first three nights of Celebration The Fox ExCeL will be hosting a special Star Wars  Afterparty. Located right next door to the convention center, The Fox ExCeL bar invites fans to join them for three nights of live music and entertainment to celebrate Celebration's return to London by partying the night away. The Afterparty event will run from 6pm until 1am on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Celebration. Entrance is £5 per person (over 18s only), and tickets are on sale now .

Fan Event - Not-So Virtual Cantina 2 Meet Up

  The Not-So Virtual Cantina is back! The first fan event announced for Star Wars  Celebration Europe 2023 is a great way for fans arriving in London a little early to hang out ahead of the main event. Taking place on Wednesday, April 5, the Not-So Virtual Cantina 2 will take place in the W XYZ Bar at the Aloft Hotel right next door to the convention center from 8pm. You can find all the details for this event on their Facebook page.

Fan Event - TRB's Make Solo 2 Happen Meetup

  Fan of Solo ? So are the crew of The Resistance Broadcast. So why not meet them, and all your fellow Solo  fans at Celebration next week! Taking place at 3:30pm on Friday, May 27, on the show floor (exact location TBD - keep an eye on TRB's Twitter for updates) this gathering is all about showing support for future adventures with everyone's favorite smuggler and wookiee duo. You even get a free pin (whilst supplies last).

Fan Event - Creator Meetup

  Another chance to meet some of your favorite fan content providers! Maybe all these after hours events aren't for you and you just want chance to say a quick "hi" during the day? This looks like the event you've been waiting for. Taking place on Saturday, May 28, just outside the convention center (just north of the fountain) the Creator Meetup will run from 2pm-2:30pm and feature Princess & Scoundrel, Ordinary Adventures, Anakin and His Angel, Star Wars  IRL, Rexin Around, The Holonet Marauders, Carly King, Thank the Maker, The Resistance Broadcast, Victoria's Cantina, The Dan-O Channel, Hondo Supply, and Broaxium.

Fan Group Photos Announced

  The 501st. The Rebel Legion. The Mandalorian Mercs. Every Celebration has iconic photos of these groups (and more!) gathered together and Anaheim will be no different. Taking place at the stairs on the second floor of the south terrace the main group shoots have been scheduled for Friday and Saturday: Friday, May 27 Mandalorian Mercs - 11am Knights of the Jedi Order - 11:30am Rebel Legion - 1pm The Dark Empire - 2pm Saturday, May 28 501st Legion - 1pm Saber Guild - 8pm After the big group photos, smaller divisional photos will take place throughout the days. These, along with all other group photos announced so far, can be found on the Fan Events page . Please note that due to security reasons costuming groups are not able to access some of the photo locations until 10am so photo times have been updated.

Fan Event - Queer Meet-Up

  Are you queer? Are you an ally? And do you want to meet some of the best Star Wars  fans to hang out with for the rest of Celebration? In that case you want to attend Pink Milks's Queer Meet-Up ! Taking place on Thursday, May 26, the Queer Meet-Up invites you to Bobby V's Cocktails from 20:00-23:00 for cocktails, music, and finding the perfect crew to spend you Celebration with.

Fan Event - Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Discord Group Lightsaber Meet Ups

  Pack that lightsaber and get ready to bring light to the galaxy, the Star Wars  Galaxy's Edge Discord group is hosting not one but two lightsaber meet ups at Star Wars Celebration this year! First, on Thursday May 26, the group will hold an opening night meet up at the fountain in front of the Anaheim Convention Center. Then, on Friday May 27, a second meet up will take place outside of Disneyland just before the Star Wars  Nite festivities begin. Both events take place at 7:45pm and are open to everyone who wants to take part, with no admission required for either Celebration or Disneyland.

Fan Event - Mosh Eisley

  Ready for the after party? Join the Thank the Maker Podcast Network for Mosh Eisley! Taking place on Saturday, May 28, at Chain Reaction in Anaheim the party begins at 9pm. In their own words, "think emo night but 100% more Star Wars " with costumes, lightsabers, and any type of Star Wars  clothing strongly encouraged. Tickets are on sale now for $20 each or $45 for a ticket and shirt bundle.
