Celebrating STAR WARS

  Hello there! Well, that was a littler earlier than expected! Last night Star Wars  Celebration revealed the key art for Japan 2025 and announced that tickets for the highly anticipated event would go on sale Thursday, May 2, at 19:00 EST (US) / Friday, May 3, at 08:00 JST (Japan). Debuting the key art  StarWars.com  revealed that it was created using the traditional Japanese sumi-e style of blank ink painting. The artwork blends together the iconography of Star Wars  with that of Japan itself, with Mount Fuji centered in Japan's Rising Sun flag, framed by TIE Fighters, X-wings, and AT-ATs, with Darth Vader in the foreground and swirls of black ink extending from the Sith Lord to form the branches of cherry blossom trees. When tickets go on sale (as near to May 4th as possible) they will cost $168.85 for a 3-Day adult badge and $42.35 for a 3-Day child badge.   Last week (I know, I'm late!) Star Wars Celebration revealed the official Key Art for Star Wars  Celebration Europe 2023. Commemorating both the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi  and Celebration's long awaited return to London, the artwork features the second Death Star and the rebel fleet above the London skyline. In addition to the gorgeous new artwork ReedPOP confirmed that they are once again partnering with Official Pix , who will be running the autograph area in London. Star Wars Celebration will be taking place over the Easter weekend, running Thursday, April 7 to Monday, April 10 2023. Monday adult tickets are still available , along with kids tickets for all 4 days. Given that we're now less than six months away it doesn't look like there will be an official re-seller this year, so please be careful and make sure you trust the seller if you're buying second hand tickets. Time for me to start getting this site up to date!

The Key Art for Star Wars Celebration Chicago has been reveale d and it is simply stunning! Created by Paul Shipper, the Key Art features the symbol of the Jedi Order balanced between the heroes of the light and the villains of the dark. Expect to see this art work on everything from posters to magnets in the Celebration Store in April. But if you want the Key Art shirt make sure you contact ReedPOP as soon as possible as the shirt was one of the products you could pre-order with your tickets and, if previous Celebrations are anything to go by, won't be available in the store. You should still be able to add this to your order if you contact ReedPOP ahead of Celebration. I know I will be doing!
