Celebration Store Revealed for 2023

Image
These are the exclusives you're looking for! Today Star Wars  Celebration has revealed all of the exclusive merchandise you will only be able to find in the official Celebration Store in London! Well, almost all! We still haven't seen the full pin collection for this year. This year's offerings are broken down into three collections - Key Art & Logo (including some gorgeous badge art shirts), Return of the Jedi  40th Anniversary, and the Legacy/Saga collection. There's a few fun novelties, but the shirts are definitely where it's at this year. That Grogu Squid and Chips shirt will definitely be coming home with me, along with a few of the badge art shirts (gutted there's no Chopper but the Luke and Vader are musts!) Hope you find something that catches your eye! I've updated the Show Store 2023 page with everything revealed today, and remember you can see all the vendor exclusives on this page as well.

Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 Updates

Image
Hey all, just a little bit of an update post to catch up a few things. This Thursday Sunday tickets once again sold out, leaving only a limited number of Friday and Monday tickets available (for sold out ticket types you can still go through the  Lyte Ticket Exchange ). Badges are currently going out (and they look just as nice in hand!). We still have nearly two weeks to go so if you haven't received yours yet please don't panic. However, if you are travelling and they don't arrive in time it has been confirmed you can simply go to Will Call/Fan Services with your order confirmation and they will be able to issue you with replacement badges so there's no need to worry. When you do get your badges, badge activation is now live. So you can follow this link to activate them. Again, don't worry if you can't do it until you get there, they don't need to be activated in advance. Also live now is the official Star Wars  Celebration Europe 2023 mobile app, which

Panel Selection & Lightspeed Lane Guide 2023

Image
Hey everyone, sorry for the delay on this piece, it was my last week at my current job this week so time kinda got away from me. Lots of changes this year so lets break down everything you need to know about Panel Selections, Lightspeed Lanes, and more! PANELS There will be at 2 types of panel entry at Celebration Europe this year. The online Panel Selection (lottery) and good, old fashioned, queuing. Barring any late announcements nearer the time, it looks like the daily Lightspeed Lane Reservation system for Galaxy and Twin Suns Stages is out this year. Panel Selection (Lottery) Entry to the five biggest panels of Star Wars  Celebration will once again be determined by an online lottery. Entry to the online selection process began on March 14 and will close on Tuesday, March 21, at 11:59PM GMT. Selection is random and the time you enter has no impact on your chances of being selected for panel entry. Entry to the lottery will be at  this site  and is via the email address you used

D23 Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary Screening for Celebration Europe

Image
Return of the Jedi  is returning to the big screen! To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the conclusion of the original trilogy, D23 is bringing Return of the Jedi  back to cinemas for one night only during Star Wars  Celebration. Taking place on Saturday, April 8, D23 will be hosting 2 screenings at Odeon Covent Garden. Doors for the first screening open at 18:30 (with the film starting at 19:30) with the second screening an hour later. Both screenings will kick off with a special pre-show and include pop corn, water, and "a commemorative gift from a galaxy far, far away". Tickets are on sale now to D23 Gold and general members costing $40 (plus $5 processing fee) and $50 (plus $7 processing fee) respectively. Honestly, as much as I would love to see Jedi  on the big screen again (it's my favorite Star Wars  movie after all), I feel this is over priced. D23 hosted a similar screening during Celebration Chicago in 2019 which was free for D23 members so $40-50 is a ma

Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 Exhibitor List

Image
The Exhibitor List is now live on the official Star Wars  Celebration website! Fan Event - Star Wars Celebration Goes Canary Wharf

Image
With Star Wars  Celebration so close to one of the filming locations of Rogue One it's the perfect time to see where the magic was made. And to do it in costume! Officially cleared with Transport for London,  Star Wars Celebration Goes to Canary Wharf is a fan event where costumes are encouraged as you check out and take photos of Canary Wharf where Rogue One  was filmed. Whilst costumes are highly encouraged (especially the Imperial kind) TFL have requested strictly no blasters and no flash photography on the platform when trains are approaching. Taking place on Saturday, April 9, all entry costs is the price of a tube ticket. The meet up begins at 18:00 and should last a little while as group photos are taken (and to allow people to make it after panels). You can find out all the details at the event's Facebook page .

Badge Art Revealed

Image
Just a quick post for this one - the badge art has been revealed for Star Wars  Celebration Europe 2023 and OMG it is simply gorgeous! A lot of people weren't happy with the switch from characters to locations last year and it looks like ReedPOP heard them loud and clear as this may be the best looking set of badges I've ever seen for Star Wars  Celebration! One thing's for sure - I'm gonna be buying a fair few badge art shirts based on this and I am definitely going to be trying to get the full badge set if they sell it! Here's hoping Luke is the 4-Day badge for ROTJ 40th!

Celebration 2023 Art Show Revealed

Image
The Star Wars  Celebration Art Show is here!! The Art Show is one of my favorite parts of Celebration. I just love seeing all of the new and unique art work created for the event and I always try to bring home at least one new piece from each Celebration I'm lucky enough to go to. I would love more but I think I'm going to need a new wall if I started getting multiple pieces from each show! Earlier tonight the official site revealed all 22 official art works for this Celebration, including work by Al Abbazia, Jonathan Beistline, Tricia Benson, Jodie Rae Charity, Cryssy Cheung, Jason W. Christman, Jason Davies, Chris Dee, Haitem Gasmi, Sam Gilbey, Joe Hogan, Sandra Kamenz, Brandon Kenney, Shyla Lee, Erik Maell, Ashraf Omar, Frank Sansone, Adam Schickling, Nick Scurfield, Lin Zy, Zoltan Simon, and Malcolm Tween. Ahsoka and The Mandalorian  are the main themes this year, but there's art work covering everything from The Skywalker Saga  to Andor  so you're sure to find s

Road to Celebration - Pin Trading Begins

Image
The first pins have been revealed the Road to Celebration begins this week as the first official merchandise from Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 goes on sale! The official SWC Twitter account revealed the three Road to Celebration pin sets on Saturday and confirmed that all three sets will go on sale to ticket holders this Friday, March. 10, at 9am PT. Though no word yet on if they come with a shirt or not (I expect they will). This year's pin collection features art by Adrian Pontoh and the three Road to Celebration sets are Return of the Jedi , Andor , and The Mandalorian . I'm not familiar with Pontoh's work but I am loving the designs of these pins! Expect more designs to be revealed as we get closer to Celebration. And I can finally say that the Celebration Pin Trading 2023 page has been updated!!

Surprise Eighth Wave of Guests Adds Michelle Ang and Simon Kassianides

Image
Well what have we here? Two more special guests have been added to the Star Wars  Celebration line up! Michelle Ang (Omega) and Simon Kassianides (Axe Woves) joined the guest list on Friday, bringing the total number of guests to a most impressive 40 in London next month. Honestly, I'm a little surprised they haven't added a duo photo op for Michelle Ang and Dee Bradly Baker. There's still time for that one to be added to the schedule so fingers crossed they're able to do so. As always, I have updated the Celebration Guest 2023 page with prices, days appearing, and links to the Official Pix pre-order pages. And you can use these links to jump directly to the Official Pix pre-order and send in service .
