You can (and should) read the full article over at the official site , but here is my (hopefully simplified) break down of everything you need to know about lotteries, panel reservations and virtual queues at Star Wars Celebration. This is where the fun begins (again)! Announced by one of the best Star Wars duos, Andi and Anthony, on a special edition of The Star Wars Show we finally know just when Celebration Anaheim will take place! August 27th-30th. Tickets will go an sale next Friday, June 21st, at 9am PT. That's right, tickets go on sale next week !! But that's not all! The official Star Wars Celebration website also updated with a mountain of additional information so let's break it all down! The Basics Star Wars Celebration will take place at the Anaheim Convention Centre from Thursday August 27th to Sunday August 30th. There is no Bounty Hunter preview day next year. The exhibit hall will be open from 10:00am-7:00pm Thursday to Saturday, and 10:00am-5:00pm on Sunday. Jedi Masters will be allowed early access at 9:30am each day. Which type depends on which panel you want to see. Celebration Stage - Morning Lottery The main panel each day will be the morning panel held on the Celebration Stage. For these four panels an online lottery will open on Friday March 29th and run through to 23:59 central time on Thursday April 4th. Even without The Star Wars Show (what happened?!) there's still some big Celebration news today as eager fans across America began to receive their badges and the first information on the new queueing system. Whilst the full details of the new system haven't been revealed yet, it looks like Celebration's infamous overnight line ups (seen above in an image from WDW Info) are now a thing of the past. The Resistance Broadcast's Lacey Gilleran shared pictures of her VIP badge today (featuring some great Qui-Gon Jinn artwork) which came bearing the message Activate your badge now to maximize your SWCC Experience! StarWarsCelebration.com/Activate The link takes you to a GrowTix page that essentially tells you that your Celebration badge is your first step into a larger world.
