Last week Star Wars Celebration announced that Star Wars Insider writer and Fantha Tracks Editor-in-Chief Mark Newbold will be hosting the Podcast Stage in Chicago next year! A life long fan of the saga, Mark has written for the official site, Star Wars Insider , Build the Millennium Falcon , and more. The current Editor-in-Chief of Fantha Tracks , Mark was previously the daily content manager of Jedi News and has appeared on over 70 podcasts since 2005 making him a fantastic choice to host the stage. Whilst Star Wars Celebration hasn't officially announced the full list of podcasts that the stage will be playing host to over the five day event, many took to social media to share their excitement at being accepted to take part in the galaxy's biggest celebration. So you're going to Star Wars Celebration! You've got your badges, you've got your hotel room, you've even got you transportation all figured out (will that be X-Wing or TIE Fighter?). You're pretty much all set. You just need to pack. So what should you be taking with you for this five day extravaganza anyway? Everyone's list of Con essentials will be slightly different, we're all individuals after all, so I'm just going to try and make this list as comprehensive as possible. The Second City is coming to Celebration! The legendary improv empire, whose alumni include Bill Murray, Tina Fey, Dan Aykroyd, Joan Rivers, and Saturday Night Live cast members past and present, will be bringing it's world famous brand of entertainment to Star Wars Celebration in Chicago next April. In addition to appearing at Celebration, The Second City will also be hosting Star Wars based performances at their iconic theatre in Chicago's Old Town. Thursday is the third day to completely sell out, following Saturday and Friday earlier this year. Now just Sunday and Monday remain available. The head of ILM is heading to Chicago for next year's Star Wars Celebration! Rob Bredow joined Lucasfilm in 2014.
