D23 to Live Stream Select Panels

We're just over a week from Disney's D23 Expo in Anaheim. Whilst nothing is confirmed, it's widely expected that we will get our first officially released trailer for The Mandalorian at the Disney+ Showcase on Friday, followed by a Behind The Scenes video for The Rise of Skywalker during Saturday's Behind the Scenes at Walt Disney Studios panel. Plus there's always a chance of some surprises. And maybe, just maybe, we can all watch along as Disney have announced that select panels from D23 will be live streamed; UPDATE: #D23Expo 2019 is sold out! Next week, we will be announcing select panels at the Expo which will be live-streamed. The main events may be Disney+, Disney Studios, and Disney Parks, but in 2017 none of those panels were on the live stream schedule. Hopefully they were just testing the waters last time...

Save the Rebellion! Save the Dream! Saw Gerrera and More Coming to Celebration

The latest round of Celebration guests were announced last night , and they include a freedom fighter, a Mandalorian, a Naboo captain, and three people who help bring the galaxy to life! Forest Whitaker, Rogue One 's rogue rebel Saw Gerrera will be meeting fans in Chicago. Joining him will be another freedom fighter, The Clone Wars and Rebels Katee Sackhoff, who voices Mandalorian warrior and leader Bo-Katan. Joining the 20th anniversary festivities will be Hugh Quarshie, The Phantom Menace 's Captain Panaka. And finally, fans will be able to meet Lee Towersey, who helped build R2-D2 for the Sequel Trilogy, Josh Lee, who worked on both K-2SO and BB-8, and Matt Denton, electronic design and development supervisor for both The Force Awakens and Rogue One . Lucasfilm Bringing a Trinity of Animation Panels to Celebration

Yesterday saw the hashtag Rebels Remembered spreading across social media as fans marked the anniversary of Rebels ' series finale. Today StarWars.com announced that Lucasfilm animation are hosting three animation panels at Celebration next month, starting with a special look back at the beloved adventures of the Ghost's crew. On Saturday, April 13th, Rebels Remembered will reunite Dave Filoni, Vanessa Marshall, Tiya Sircar, and Tyler Gray for a special look back to the series that saw the Ghost's crew go from scrappy rebels to a vital part of the alliance as they grew together as a family. Though they stress there won't be a surprise announcement of a new series, they promise a retrospective that will uplift the fans of a series that made us laugh, made us cry, and gave us hope. Ray Park and More Heading to Chicago Plus Volunteer with Topps

I'm a bit late with this post but last week we finally got the news that Celebration regular and fan favourite actor Ray Park will be coming to Chicago next month! The star of The Phantom Menace and that cameo in Solo: A Star Wars Story will be signing from Friday to Monday, and yes you can get a team up photo with the voice of Maul, Sam Witwer. Joining him will be Clone Wars star Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), rounding out the core cast of our beloved Clone Wars heroes. And there's plenty of team up photos available for the entire Clone Wars gang! And Rebels star Tiya Sircar (Sabine Wren) brings the Ghost family one step closer to completion. And yes, plenty of team up photo ops there as well. Even More Guests Announced for Celebration Chicago

The Star Wars Show is back! After a winter hiatus that seemed to last forever, Andi and Anthony are back bringing news direct from the Lucasfilm headquarters, including more guests for Celebration Chicago! The Guest list keeps growing with stars spanning the entire Star Wars Saga. First up, a man who needs no introduction, the one and only Peter Mayhew is returning to Celebration! Joining him from the Original Trilogy is Return of the Jedi 's Michael Pennington (Moff Jerjerrod) Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett) joins his on screen son, representing the Prequel Trilogy. The Clone Wars continues to make a strong showing with Dee Bradley Baker (Captain Rex), Tom Kane (Yoda) and Catherine Taber ( Padm Ć© Am idala) joining the already announced Clone Wars line up. Ahsoka, Boba Fett & More Head to Chicago!

Impressive. Most impressive. The Celebration Chicago guest list just keeps getting better! Fan favourite star of The Clone Wars and Rebels , and founder of Her Universe, Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano) is returning to Celebration! Joining her will be another fan favourite, Daniel Logan, who played the young Boba Fett in Attack of the Clones and The Clone Wars . They will be joined by cast members from all three trilogies; Jett Lucas (Zett Jukassa), John Ratzenberger (Major Derlin), Ken Leung (Admiral Statura), and creature performer Katy Kartwheel (HURID-327 in The Force Awakens and Rio Durant in Solo: A Star Wars Story ) Stay tuned for more guest announcements (and autograph and photo op pre-sale information) over the coming weeks.

First Voice Actors Announced for Star Wars Celebration

The first group of voice actors have been announced for Star Wars Celebration Chicago and it includes some old favourites from The Clone Wars and some new faces from Resistance . Returning veterans from The Clone Wars we have James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Matthew Wood (General Grievous, Battle Droids). Then, for the first time at Celebration, the heroes of the Resistance are coming! Christopher Sean (Kazuda Xiono), Suzie McGrath (Tam Ryvora) and Scott Lawrence (Jarek Yeager) will all make their Celebration debut in Chicago. From Star Wars: Battlefront II , bridging the gap between the Original and Sequel Trilogies, we have Janina Gavankar (Iden Versio). All six actors will be meeting fans and signing autographs throughout Star Wars Celebration. Tickets will go on sale via Star Wars Authentics ahead of the event so make sure you sign up for notifications today so you can learn when tickets will be on sale.
