Final Guests Announced for Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025

Image
This Tuesday Star Wars  Celebration announced two more additions to the guest list for Japan. Whilst nothing was said on social media, according to the official site these are the final guest for the autograph hall this year. Whilst it wouldn't be unheard of for Celebration to add a few last minute additions to the autograph hall, if this is truly the final round they're going out with some great additions. Vanessa Marshall (Hera Syndulla) is returning to Celebration as is the Chosen One himself, Hayden Christensen!   As always, I've updated the Guest page with direct links to their sales pages and details of all the available photo op and autograph option. We are now less than two months from Star Wars Celebration Japan. As Anakin would say, "this is where the fun begins!"

Oscar Isaac Heading to Star Wars Celebration

Image
For the first time ever one of the sequel trilogy heroes will be meeting fans at a Star Wars  Celebration as Oscar Isaac is coming to Japan!! Announced on Tuesday, Oscar Isaac will be meeting guests for autographs and photo ops on Friday and Saturday and I can't help but hope that this means we'll be getting a panel for the 10th anniversary of The Force Awakens  and that some of Oscar's co-stars might be coming as well! I've updated the Celebration Guest and added direct links to his Epic Photos/Official Pix purchase page as well.

Celebration Basics - Budget, Budget, Budget

Image
There's no way around this, Star Wars Celebration is expensive. So, unless you've got a camtono of beskar lying around, you're going to need to budget. It's certainly possible to have an absolutely fantastic time at Celebration without spending anything on top of your tickets, hotel, transport, and food costs, but if you're planning on buying any of the exclusive merchandise or getting an autograph or photo with your favorite Star Wars celebrity then the costs can add up real quick. My best advice here is to start saving as soon as you can, even a little a month will soon add up, and the sooner you start saving, the more prepared you'll be. The Essentials There are basically four essentials for  Star Wars  Celebration. Your Tickets The good news is at this point your Celebration badges are likely bought and paid for, so that's one expense you don't have to worry about anymore. Your Travel Unless you're traveling locally or waiting for a last minute...

Star Wars Celebration Japan Autographs & Photo Ops On Sale (Finally!)

Image
Well, that was certainly eventful!! Guest photo ops and autographs are now on sale via Official Pix/Epic Photos but it was a bumpy start! Opening at 7PM ET yesterday, sales were quickly suspended as it became apparent that a back end conversion error was causing chaos. Prices on guest pages were appearing in dollars (for the incorrect amount), the correct yen rate would then appear when you viewed your basket or went to check out. Not ideal, but the real issue was that system then tried to charge you the yen amount in dollars! So a ¥27,995 autograph that should have been around $180 was coming through as $27,995! Needless to say a lot of people were having their cards declined (and those few that went through will be needing refunds)! Due to the time difference I'm not quite sure how long sales were down for. It was almost 2:30am in the UK/9:30pm ET when I decided to call it a night but the issue had been resolved when I got up four hours later. So far no guests have sold o...

Official Pix Returns to Star Wars Celebration - Photo Ops and Autographs on Sale Tomorrow

Image
Sorry for the lack of updates everyone, I hope to get that fixed and everything back up to date over the next week starting with the guest update today ahead of tomorrow's sale. That's right, Star Wars Celebration autograph and photo op sales start tomorrow! As announced on Saturday, Official Pix are returning to once again run the celebrity hall. Hopefully this means that the same system as previous years will be in place, allowing fans to move their signing and photo op times to best fit their schedule (time slot availability allowing). Autographs and photo ops for announced guests will go on sale tomorrow at 7PM ET. And speaking off announced guests, there's been a few since I last updated this blog! Announced on October 24, Mads Mikkelsen (Galen Erso) will be returning for his second Celebration. Whilst it may not be his first time appearing, it will be the first time ever signing at Celebration for Diego Luna! Yes, Cassian Andor himself was confirmed as a guest on De...

Surprise Eighth Wave of Guests Adds Michelle Ang and Simon Kassianides

Image
Well what have we here? Two more special guests have been added to the Star Wars  Celebration line up! Michelle Ang (Omega) and Simon Kassianides (Axe Woves) joined the guest list on Friday, bringing the total number of guests to a most impressive 40 in London next month. Honestly, I'm a little surprised they haven't added a duo photo op for Michelle Ang and Dee Bradly Baker. There's still time for that one to be added to the schedule so fingers crossed they're able to do so. As always, I have updated the Celebration Guest 2023 page with prices, days appearing, and links to the Official Pix pre-order pages. And you can use these links to jump directly to the Official Pix pre-order and send in service .

Seventh (and Final) Wave of Guests Announced for Celebration Europe

The seventh (and final) wave of guests has been revealed for Star Wars  Celebration Europe and it's largely a family affair as Warwick Davis returns and is joined by Annabelle ( Willow 's Mims Ufgood) and Harrison Davis (Pommet the Ewok). Alongside the Davis family, Andor 's Denise Gough brings the Celebration lineup to a close, adding the calculating ISB Agent Dedra  Meero and some much anticipated Andor  representation to the guest list. As always, I have updated the  Celebration Guest 2023  page with prices, days appearing, and links to the Official Pix pre-order pages. Hello There! Ewan McGregor Returns to Star Wars Celebration in Fifth Wave of Guests

Image
"I just wanted to say, I just wanted to come out and say thank you to you, because I've never done a convention before, I've never been a Celebration before. I didn't really know, I guess, what it was like and what's been really amazing is to be able to, when I'm signing autographs or taking photographs, is to be able to meet you, even though if it's just for a second. I just wanted you to know that its meant something to me very special and I've loved every minute of it, and so I wanted to say thank you and I'll be back next year." And he's a man of his word! The fifth wave of guests announced last night sees Ewan McGregor return for his second Star Wars  Celebration alongside long time attendee Ian McDiarmid and Celebration first timer Andy Serkis! I have to say, the guest list this year may not be as large as it has been at some past events but the guest lineup is absolutely fantastic! As always, I have updated the Celebration Guest 20...

Fourth Wave of Guests Include Billy Dee Williams, Rosario Dawson and ROTJ 40th Anniversary

Image
Oh wow! This has been a real one-two punch of knockout announcements! Yesterday Star Wars  Celebration announced a wave of special guests from Return of the Jedi  to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the end of the original trilogy. Minutes later they announced that Ahsoka herself, Rosario Dawson, would be meeting fans at the event! And today they added the legendary Billy Dee Williams to the lineup! For the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi  you can now meet Michael Carter (Bib Fortuna), Sean Crawford (Yak Face), Tim Dry (J'Quille), Femi Taylor (Oola), Mike Edmonds (Logray), Mike Quinn (Nien Nunb), Tim Rose (Admiral Ackbar), and Caroline Blakiston (Mon Mothma). Sean Crawford's autograph will be handled a little differently to normal with a limited amount available to be claimed for free each day from February 8-12. These will then be collected in person at Celebration. As always, I have updated the Celebration Guest 2023 page with prices, days appearing, and...

Last night Star Wars  Celebration announced that Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca), Ming-Na Wen (Fennec Shand), Aidan Cook (Two Tubes), Silas Carson (Nute Gunray and Ki-Adi-Mundi), and Matthew Wood (voice of General Grievous and Battle Droids) will be meeting fans in London. Just three weeks in and this is shaping up to be a very solid guest list covering all eras of the Star Wars saga. As always, I have updated the Celebration Guest 2023  page with prices, days appearing, and links to the Official Pix pre-order pages. And you can use these links to jump directly to the Official Pix pre-order and send in service .

First Guests Announced and On Sale for Star Wars Celebration Europe

Image
Whilst I've been away the first two waves of guests have been announced for Star Wars  Celebration 2023! On January 23rd it was announced that legendary Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) would be attending alongside Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka Tano), Matt Lanter (voice of Anakin Skywalker), Dee Bradley Baker (voice of the Bad Batch and the rest of the clone army), Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon), Vivien Lyra Blair (young Leia), and Indira Varma (Tala Durith). That's quite the guest list already, and we still have several more weeks of announcements to go! But don't wait as pre-orders for autographs and photo ops are already on sale through Official Pix with a send in service also ava...

Key Art Revealed for Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023

Image
Last week (I know, I'm late!) Star Wars Celebration revealed the official Key Art for Star Wars  Celebration Europe 2023. Commemorating both the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi  and Celebration's long awaited return to London, the artwork features the second Death Star and the rebel fleet above the London skyline. In addition to the gorgeous new artwork ReedPOP confirmed that they are once again partnering with Official Pix , who will be running the autograph area in London. Star Wars Celebration will be taking place over the Easter weekend, running Thursday, April 7 to Monday, April 10 2023. Monday adult tickets are still available , along with kids tickets for all 4 days. Given that we're now less than six months away it doesn't look like there will be an official re-seller this year, so please be careful and make sure you trust the seller if you're buying second hand tickets. Time for me to start getting this site up to date!
