  Hello there! It feels like a long time since we got a Star Wars  Celebration update so how's this for exciting news? Star Wars Celebration Anaheim has been brought forward three months and will now take place May 26-29th next year! The surprise announcement dropped on StarWars.com  today and means we are now just over a year away from celebrating together again! Like last time, current ticket holders who want to keep their tickets don't need to take any further action whilst those who require a refund need to go to this page of the official Celebration website where they can request a refund until June 11, 2021. Interestingly it appears that ReedPOP are partnering with Lyte for the refund process. Lyte normally handles the ticket exchange for Celebration. Probably nothing, but worth noting as it could suggest that Lyte will be handling any ticket re-sales nearer once ReedPOP know how many tickets they have available. This is where the fun begins (again)! Announced by one of the best Star Wars duos, Andi and Anthony, on a special edition of The Star Wars Show we finally know just when Celebration Anaheim will take place! August 27th-30th. Tickets will go an sale next Friday, June 21st, at 9am PT. That's right, tickets go on sale next week !! But that's not all! The official Star Wars Celebration website also updated with a mountain of additional information so let's break it all down! The Basics Star Wars Celebration will take place at the Anaheim Convention Centre from Thursday August 27th to Sunday August 30th. There is no Bounty Hunter preview day next year. The exhibit hall will be open from 10:00am-7:00pm Thursday to Saturday, and 10:00am-5:00pm on Sunday. Jedi Masters will be allowed early access at 9:30am each day. "This is where the fun begins!" The wait is over! Today The Star Wars Show officially announced that Star Wars Celebration 2019 would be held at McCormick Place, Chicago. But that's not all! Celebration 2019 will be the first ever five day Celebration! Five whole days of Star Wars goodness in the largest convention centre in North America.  Yes sir, Celebration 2019 looks all set to be the greatest Celebration so far! Make sure you head on over to the official Celebration website and sign up for hotel alerts right now to make sure you get the best possible room rates when they become available. Ok, so we know the next Star Wars Celebration is in 2019.  But when is it exactly?  And where for that matter! Unlike the major comics cons, like SDCC and NYCC, Celebration doesn't have a set date or location, having been held across America, in Europe and even in Japan during its history.  This makes predicting dates a bit like trying to fire proton torpedoes down a Death Star's exhaust port - you can do it but you can't always trust your targeting computer! Let's start with the easy part - location.  All the rumours going round say it's going to be Anaheim.  That makes sense.  The rumour during the last day of Anaheim was that Celebration would become an annual event alternating between the US and the rest of the world, with US Celebrations alternating between Anaheim and Orlando.  Sure that pattern falls down a bit with Celebration skipping a year, but it holds up well enough.  Plus the Anaheim Convention Centre just completed a m...
