Even More Guests Announced for Celebration Chicago



The Star Wars Show is back! After a winter hiatus that seemed to last forever, Andi and Anthony are back bringing news direct from the Lucasfilm headquarters, including more guests for Celebration Chicago!

The Guest list keeps growing with stars spanning the entire Star Wars Saga.

First up, a man who needs no introduction, the one and only Peter Mayhew is returning to Celebration!


Joining him from the Original Trilogy is Return of the Jedi's Michael Pennington (Moff Jerjerrod)


Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett) joins his on screen son, representing the Prequel Trilogy.


The Clone Wars continues to make a strong showing with Dee Bradley Baker (Captain Rex), Tom Kane (Yoda) and Catherine Taber (Padmé Amidala) joining the already announced Clone Wars line up.




Rebels gets represented with Vanessa Marshall (Hera Syndulla) and Jason Isaacs (Grand Inquisitor)



And joining their Resistance co-stars are Myrna Velasco (Torra Doza) and Donald Faison (Hype Fazon).



The guest line up for Chicago keeps getting better and better!

First Details on New Virtual Queuing System Revealed

Even without The Star Wars Show (what happened?!) there's still some big Celebration news today as eager fans across America began to receive their badges and the first information on the new queueing system. Whilst the full details of the new system haven't been revealed yet, it looks like Celebration's infamous overnight line ups (seen above in an image from WDW Info) are now a thing of the past. The Resistance Broadcast's Lacey Gilleran shared pictures of her VIP badge today (featuring some great Qui-Gon Jinn artwork) which came bearing the message Activate your badge now to maximize your SWCC Experience! StarWarsCelebration.com/Activate The link takes you to a GrowTix page that essentially tells you that your Celebration badge is your first step into a larger world. Funko Exclusives Announced for Star Wars Celebration 2022

  Funko went all out for May the 4th, revealing the multitude of  Star Wars Celebration exclusives coming from Funko and Loungefly. First up is the Diamond Glitter Grogu. Limited to 5000 pieces, this is a shared exclusive with other ReedPOP conventions this year. Classic A New Hope  versions of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and a Stormtrooper will be available as single POP figures and a 5-Pack featuring all the figures on one stand. The singles will cost $12 and the 5-Pack will cost $59.99. The 5-Pack is a shared exclusive with Amazon. The singles are divided between multiple retailers. Luke at Box Lunch, Leia at FYE, Chewie at Target, Stormtrooper at Gamestop, and Vader is a Funko web exclusive.
