First Guests and Stage Hosts Announced for Star Wars Celebration 2022

Here we go!!! The first guests have finally been announced for Star Wars Celebration 2022 and ReedPOP are opening strong with a trio of beloved actors from across the saga!

Anthony Daniels needs no introduction, having played C-3PO in all nine episodes of the Skywalker Saga, as well as in Rogue One, The Clone Wars, Rebels, and pretty much every video game, TV commercial and anything else you can think of! Add in an appearance in Solo as Tak, and Daniels is the only actor to have appeared in all 11 Star Wars films.

The Emperor himself is coming as Ian McDiarmid returns to Celebration. Ian is another actor to have appeared in all three trilogies, as well as in Rebels, and a firm fan favorite at Celebrations.

And speaking of fan favorites, Ashley Eckstein is returning to Celebration! The voice of Ahsoka Tano in The Clone Wars and Rebels (as well as The Rise of Skywalker), Ashley is beloved by fans of all ages and you just can't imagine Celebration without her.

All three of these Star Wars icons will be appearing all 4 days of the event for autographs and photo ops. Also returning this year is Official Pix who will run the autograph area of the show.

As well as the first guest signings, the official site also announced the first creative guests and panel hosts.

Lucasfilm VP and executive creative director Doug Chiang and Rancho Obi-Wan owner Steve Sansweet have been announced as the first featured guests whilst authors Amy Ratcliffe and Dan Zehr have been announced as stage hosts.

The official site also lists sound designer David W. Collins as a stage host but he is not pictured in their guest imagery and not listed on the Celebration website. Hopefully this is just an oversight and it will be updated soon as I really hope David is at Celebration and that he does another "Music of" panel.

All of these guests have now been added to the Celebration Guests 2022 page.
