Celebration Art Show Revealed and Pre-Orders Open Today

The Art Show is here!

One of my favorite parts of Star Wars Celebration is seeing all the exclusive art created for the show. I always try, budget allowing, to bring home one piece from each Celebration I go to (I would love more but my wall space sadly disagrees).

The official site just revealed all 21 pieces for this year, with artists including Al Abbazia, Steve Anderson, Jonathan Beistline, Kate Carleton, Jason W. Christman, Joe Corroney, Kaela Croft, Asia Ellington, Danny Haas, Karen Hallion, Joe Hogan, Brian Miller, Alex Mines, Dawn Murphy, L. Jason Queen, Adam Schickling, Lin Zy Selestow, Chris Trevas, Malcolm Tween, Adrianna Vanderstelt, and Ksenia Zelentsova.

The prints this year cover everything from Solo to the Max Rebo Band. There are some beautiful tributes to Carrie Fisher, and some wonderful pieces for The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch. But I think my favorite has to be Adrianna Vanderstelt's "A Friend", beautifully capturing the moment Grogu met R2-D2, with Luke watching on in the stars.

You can see all of this year's artwork on Celebration Art Show 2022 page.

Each print will be limited to 250 pieces, with 200 available to pre-order and 50 reserved for sale at the show.

Pre-orders will open at midday PT today and run through to midday PT on Monday, May 16 at Dark Ink. Any pre-orders that don't sell out will be available to buy in person at the show in addition to the 50 prints already reserved for that purpose. However, popular prints can sell out extremely quickly so I'd recommend pre-ordering if there's a specific piece that you really want to get.
