Funko Exclusives Announced for Star Wars Celebration 2022

Funko went all out for May the 4th, revealing the multitude of Star Wars Celebration exclusives coming from Funko and Loungefly.

First up is the Diamond Glitter Grogu. Limited to 5000 pieces, this is a shared exclusive with other ReedPOP conventions this year.

Classic A New Hope versions of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and a Stormtrooper will be available as single POP figures and a 5-Pack featuring all the figures on one stand. The singles will cost $12 and the 5-Pack will cost $59.99.

The 5-Pack is a shared exclusive with Amazon. The singles are divided between multiple retailers. Luke at Box Lunch, Leia at FYE, Chewie at Target, Stormtrooper at Gamestop, and Vader is a Funko web exclusive.

Ralph McQuarrie's iconic concept art will also be represented with Concept Series POPs of Darth Vader and a 2-Pack of R2-D2 and C-3PO. These are listed as Disney exclusives so are likely to be available via Disney Parks and Shop Disney as well as Celebration (though this is just a best guess on my part).

Next up is a Super Deluxe POP Ride - Lando Calrissian in the Millennium Falcon! The fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy comes with a Celebration shirt. Whilst the POP Ride is a shared Galactic Convention exclusive, the shirt is likely to be Celebration only and features the dates of the event. The Yahoo reveal article quotes $30 for the POP ride but makes no reference to the shirt, so it's possible the shirt may make this set a little higher at Celebration.

Outside of Celebration, the POP Ride will be available from Amazon and the Celebration shirt from Funko web.

Last up from Funko are the vinyl SODA figures of Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett. Costing $15.99 these Galactic Convention exclusives also come with glow in the dark chase figures. Both will be Funko web exclusives outside of Celebration.

All Funko web and shared retailer exclusives will be available as early as 6am PT on Friday, May 27.

Funko have also confirmed that after "ticketed sessions" (lottery wins?) are complete and exclusives remaining will be available for sale at their booth.

But we're not done yet! Moving on to Loungefly and there were even more Celebration goodies revealed yesterday. These exclusives are all shared with Loungefly.com so you can get them even if you can't make it to the show.

First up (and probably my favorite of all the Funko/Loungefly reveals) is this amazing X-wing backpack and R2-D2 (Diamond Glitter) POP for $105. This is also listed as a Funko Web exclusive so make sure to check both sites.

The Bad Batch report in as part of Loungefly's mini backpack and wallet range. Both Hunter and Wrecker with cosplay mini backpacks and wallets. Or if you want someone more classic, a C-3PO mini backpack and wallet will also be available. Mini back packs are $90 and wallets $40.

If backpacks aren't your style, Loungefly will also offer an R2-D2 crossbody bag for $75.

And finally, Loungefly will have a collector box pin of R2-D2 and C-3PO ($25) and a blind box collection of R2-D2 variant pins ($20 each).

It's expected that at least some of these products will be distributed via the virtual selection (lottery) system due to high demand. Details, once announced, will be provided on the Vendor Exclusives page where you can find these and all the other exclusives announced so far.
