Cosplay Changing Room Reservations Available Tomorrow (US) / Saturday (Japan)

 

To paraphrase Ezra, "One last reservation."

Cosplay Changing Room Reservations will go live tomorrow at 4PM (PDT) March 28 / 8AM (JST) March 29.

Like with the panel reservations earlier this week, the queue link will be shared on Star Wars Celebration's official social media channels and should be added to the Cosplay page an hour before reservations go live.

Once on the reservation page you will be asked to select the day that you require a reservation for and your gender. Select your in and out times, select coat check (you must do this) and then complete your reservation.

On the day, head to Hall 9 on Level 1 and present your reservation PDF (accessed from your confirmation email).

The changing rooms will be primarily locker room style with some private changing areas available on a first come, first served basis with priority given to minors.

Cosplay changing rooms will cost ¥1,500 per day. This cost includes access to change into and out of costume, and storage for 3 standard sized bags or 2 large bags. Additional bags can be stored for an additional reservation fee of ¥500.

So who will need cosplay changing rooms?

Because Japanese etiquette frowns upon wearing costumes that could be disruptive to fellow passengers whilst using public transport cosplay has been split into two categories for Star Wars Celebration 2025.

Casual Cosplay - described as soft, fabric costumes. These costumes you can wear whilst travelling to Celebration but please carry any large cloaks, capes and accessories in your bag. The examples given are Luke Skywalker, Rey, and Han Solo.

Intricate Cosplay - described as full suits, body extensions, and larger gowns. Fans wearing these types of cosplay are asked to please reserve a changing room and get changed on site. The examples given are Padme Amidala, Stormtroopers/fully armored characters, and Jabba the Hutt. 

If you aren't paying for cosplay changing you can still use the bag storage for ¥500 per bag.

The Road to Star Wars Celebration Begins February 25th

  The countdown is well and truly on as the Road to Celebration begins! Last night Star Wars Celebration revealed a first look at 2025's Pin Trading collection , this year designed by Jerrod Maruyama, with the debut of three Road to Celebration pin sets featuring characters from A New Hope , Revenge of the Sith , and Ahsoka . But that's not all! For the first time ever Star Wars Celebration is introducing badge art pins! These pins will be sold individually and come packaged in a collectible box with a small display stand.
