First Guests Revealed for Star Wars Celebration Los Angeles 2027

 

We are going all out for the 50th! Today the official site revealed the first 5 guests for Star Wars Celebration Los Angeles and tickets aren't even on sale yet!

They did this for Japan and a lot of fans, myself included, assumed it was to encourage people to travel to Japan as guests have historically been announced much closer to the event, but it looks like this may just be the new normal for Star Wars Celebration.

Headlining this initial wave of guests is Anakin Skywalker himself, Hayden Christensen along with the villain of three trilogies, Ian McDiarmid (Emperor Palpatine), and the man who has been in more Star Wars movies and shows than anyone else - Anthony Daniels (C-3PO). It's nice to see that the bubble wrap Anthony Carboni wrapped him in at Celebration Japan is doing it's job and keeping this Star Wars icon safe for the 50th anniversary.


And we have our first guests from Star Wars animation! The voice of Captain Rex, and all the Clones, the man behind the Bad Batch, and everyone's favorite Pooba, Dee Bradley Baker is heading to Celebration Los Angeles. Joining him, and completing the Bad Batch, is Michelle Ang (Omega).


That's a great first wave of guests and hopefully a sign that we'll be getting lots more before Celebration takes place next April. Given the location and the fact that this is the 50th I'm hoping they go all out!

Star Wars Celebration Announces Main Panels and Reservation System

  This is the way (to get panel and Lightspeed Lane reservations). Last night Star Wars  Celebration officially announced  the return of the Lightspeed Lane for the Celebration Store and a new Panel Reservation system that will replace the lottery system used since 2019. But, not hidden but certainly buried away, was an even bigger announcement - the 4 main panels of Star Wars  Celebration Japan 2025!! Kicking things off, the Lucasfilm Showcase is out and dedicated movie panels are back in! Entry to Celebration, Will Call & Accessibility

  Here is everything you know about getting into Star Wars Celebration and all of the exciting panels and events each morning! This guide is currently a work in progress and will be updated as we learn more over the next few weeks. Will Call To enter  Star Wars  Celebration you must have a valid badge (of course!) Since badges aren't being posted this year everyone will have to collect from the Will Call counter. The good news is that because of this Will Call will be opening much earlier than usual to ensure that everyone has time to collect their badges before the convention.
