Disney After Dark Star Wars Nite on Sale Tomorrow



Are you ready? Tickets for Disneyland's Star Wars Nite go on sale tomorrow! And if you're an Annual Passholder you can get yours right now! So head on over to the Disneyland Event Tickets page to secure yours ahead of tomorrow's rush.

Annual Passholder tickets are $109.00 each so this is likely to be the price when tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow.

Disney's website has been updated with new details of the event confirming that guests will have access to the entire park with the party beginning at the Star Wars Launch Bay in Tomorrowland and culminating in Galaxy's Edge with a special celebration of Batuu's Twin Moons Eclipse Day, "a rare phenomenon that occurs every few decades when the planet's two moons momentarily align."

The event is now confirmed to run from 9:00PM to 1:00AM (with guests gaining access to the park from 6:00PM)

As previously announced the event will include a special fireworks spectacular, character encounters, and a galactic dance party. Disney PhotoPass photographers will be on hand throughout the night to capture unforgettable memories against event-themed backdrops (unlimited digital downloads of these are included in the event ticket), exclusive event inspired food and merchandise will be available whilst stocks last (if you want the event merch I'd aim to be there at 6:00PM if you're not already planning on spending the day at the park), and your ticket even includes a commemorative credential and event guide.

Now for the bad news. Rise of the Resistance WILL NOT be available to ride during the event "due to standard required maintenance time". So unfortunately guests won't get chance to experience Disneyland's newest attraction as part of the festivities.

On the plus side, costumes are allowed as long as they follow the event rules (essentially no masks and no capes or clothing that drag on the floor) which means you can get that perfect Batuu photo and fly the Millennium Falcon all decked out as your favorite character from the Star Wars galaxy.

First Details on New Virtual Queuing System Revealed

Even without The Star Wars Show (what happened?!) there's still some big Celebration news today as eager fans across America began to receive their badges and the first information on the new queueing system. Whilst the full details of the new system haven't been revealed yet, it looks like Celebration's infamous overnight line ups (seen above in an image from WDW Info) are now a thing of the past. The Resistance Broadcast's Lacey Gilleran shared pictures of her VIP badge today (featuring some great Qui-Gon Jinn artwork) which came bearing the message Activate your badge now to maximize your SWCC Experience! StarWarsCelebration.com/Activate The link takes you to a GrowTix page that essentially tells you that your Celebration badge is your first step into a larger world. Funko Exclusives Announced for Star Wars Celebration 2022

  Funko went all out for May the 4th, revealing the multitude of  Star Wars Celebration exclusives coming from Funko and Loungefly. First up is the Diamond Glitter Grogu. Limited to 5000 pieces, this is a shared exclusive with other ReedPOP conventions this year. Classic A New Hope  versions of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and a Stormtrooper will be available as single POP figures and a 5-Pack featuring all the figures on one stand. The singles will cost $12 and the 5-Pack will cost $59.99. The 5-Pack is a shared exclusive with Amazon. The singles are divided between multiple retailers. Luke at Box Lunch, Leia at FYE, Chewie at Target, Stormtrooper at Gamestop, and Vader is a Funko web exclusive.
