Second Guest Announcement for Star Wars Celebration 2022

 

The second round of guests has been announced for Star Wars Celebration, including more headliners, our first supporting cast members, and the authors of the immensely popular Star Wars: The High Republic series!

Headlining this round of announcements are The Mandalarian's Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon) and Omid Abtahi (Doctor Pershing), the mighty Chewbacca himself, Joonas Suotamo, and  Daniel Logan.

Joining them will be The Book of Boba Fett's Carey Jones (Black Krrsantan), Margo Apostolos (the Ewok Tokkat), Jett Lucas (Zett Jukassa), Orli Shoshan (Shaak Ti), Kevin Thomspon (the Ewok Chubbray), and Tim Rose (Admiral Ackbar).


Added to last week's announcements, this brings us to 13 guests so far for the autograph hall.

Joining them in Anaheim will be the Luminous team of Claudia Gray, Justina Ireland, Daniel José Older, Cavan Scott, and Charles Soule. Whilst author signings have not yet been announced, we can probably expect some sort of High Republic signing (either at the Del Rey or Disney Press booth) as well as a panel teasing what to expect from the second phase of The High Republic when it launches later this year.


Strangely the official Celebration website hasn't get been updated for all of these guests, but hopefully it will be soon. I've updated the Celebration Guests 2022 page as best I can, but for now there are a few guest pictures missing.

  Welcome to the Outer Rim Matsuri (festival)! On outer rim world, not dissimilar to Japan, the fan clubs are coming together for their traditional Star Wars  Celebration bash! Taking place on Saturday, April 19, the Celebration Bash is open to members of the official groups along with their families and friends. That's right, families! For the first time ever the Celebration Bash will welcome all ages for an evening of fun, food, drinks, and entertainment. Tickets to the Bash cost ¥12,000 per adult, ¥3,500 per child (ages 13-17), and ¥2,500 per child (ages 6-12). Star Wars Celebration Announces Main Panels and Reservation System

  This is the way (to get panel and Lightspeed Lane reservations). Last night Star Wars  Celebration officially announced  the return of the Lightspeed Lane for the Celebration Store and a new Panel Reservation system that will replace the lottery system used since 2019. But, not hidden but certainly buried away, was an even bigger announcement - the 4 main panels of Star Wars  Celebration Japan 2025!! Kicking things off, the Lucasfilm Showcase is out and dedicated movie panels are back in! The Mandalorian & Grogu  opens Celebration on Friday and will hopefully give attendees (and the world) the first full teaser trailer for Star Wars'  eagerly awaited return to the big screen. Saturday brings with it two major panels - Andor: A Star Wars Story  and Ahsoka . THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED FOLLOWING THE LIGHTNING LANE RESERVATION PROCESS First though, Ticket Transfers. TICKET TRANSFERS A new wrinkle this year. To take part in online reservations each ticket must be assigned to a unique email address. You cannot enter any of the reservations as a group. All members of your party with adult tickets must make their own reservations. You can transfer tickets until 12PM (ET) on the day of reservations.
