Final Guests Announced for Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025

Image
This Tuesday Star Wars  Celebration announced two more additions to the guest list for Japan. Whilst nothing was said on social media, according to the official site these are the final guest for the autograph hall this year. Whilst it wouldn't be unheard of for Celebration to add a few last minute additions to the autograph hall, if this is truly the final round they're going out with some great additions. Vanessa Marshall (Hera Syndulla) is returning to Celebration as is the Chosen One himself, Hayden Christensen!   As always, I've updated the Guest page with direct links to their sales pages and details of all the available photo op and autograph option. We are now less than two months from Star Wars Celebration Japan. As Anakin would say, "this is where the fun begins!"

Fan Event - Star Wars Celebration Discord Meetup

Image
The Star Wars Celebration Discord group have announced their now traditional meetup on the eve of Star Wars  Celebration. If you've not already joined the group then I can't recommend it enough. If you have questions about anything to do with Celebration then this group has the answers. I can't over state how much I have relied on them for the information used to create this blog. If it weren't for them I would miss so many of the fan meetups, group photos, and so much more. From Q&A videos on Japan to instant notifications when hotel rooms become available, this group has everything for Celebration fans. You can join them right here! I'll see you in the group! The meet up takes place on Thursday, April 18, at the APA Hotel & Resort Tokyo Bay Makuhari, just a short walk from the convention center, and will run from 9PM to 11PM. Check out the events page in the group for more information as we get closer to Celebration.

The countdown is well and truly on as the Road to Celebration begins! Last night Star Wars Celebration revealed a first look at 2025's Pin Trading collection , this year designed by Jerrod Maruyama, with the debut of three Road to Celebration pin sets featuring characters from A New Hope , Revenge of the Sith , and Ahsoka . But that's not all! For the first time ever Star Wars Celebration is introducing badge art pins! Final Badge Art Revealed for Star Wars Celebration Japan

Image
The final round of Takumi's exquisite badge art for Star Wars Celebration Japan was revealed last night. This last round of eight badges features some of the sagas most iconic characters and epic duels in traditional ukiyo-e style, blending the iconography of Star Wars and Japan. These final badges feature Anakin Vs Obi-Wan, Rey & Kylo Ren, Mon Mothma, Osha, Kai & Nubs, Princess Leia, Cassian Andor, and Sol Vs The Stranger. This is arguably one of the most stunning (and certainly most unique) badge sets ever produced for a Star Wars Celebration and I can't wait to see it on merchandise throughout the Celebration Store... O r even sooner !

Star Wars in Concert for Celebration Japan

Image
Star Wars in Concert  is heading to Tokyo! Whilst not technically a Star Wars  Celebration event, these performances of the original trilogy in concert are clearly timed to coincide with Celebration, taking place on the same days as the convention. If you've never been to Star Wars in Concert  I can highly recommend it. Hearing a live orchestra perform John Williams' iconic scores to a screening of the original film is something every fan should experience at least once. The concert series will take place at the Tokyo Garden Theater in the Ariake district. The films will be played in English with Japanese subtitles. Friday, April 18 Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert Doors open at 18:00, performance starts at 19:00 and ends 21:30 Saturday, April 19 Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert Doors open at 12:30, performance starts at 13:30 and ends 16:00 Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in Concert Doors open at 18:00, performance starts at 19:00 and ends 21:30 Sunday, April 2...

For the first time ever one of the sequel trilogy heroes will be meeting fans at a Star Wars  Celebration as Oscar Isaac is coming to Japan!! Announced on Tuesday, Oscar Isaac will be meeting guests for autographs and photo ops on Friday and Saturday and I can't help but hope that this means we'll be getting a panel for the 10th anniversary of The Force Awakens  and that some of Oscar's co-stars might be coming as well! I've updated the Celebration Guest and added direct links to his Epic Photos/Official Pix purchase page as well.
