Celebration Preparation 2025

 

Star Wars Celebration is returning to Japan for the first time since 2008 for a three day event that promises to be truly out of this world.

On this page you will find all the essential information for Celebration Japan along with plenty of hints and tips to help get the most out of your Celebration.

TICKET SALE

Tickets for Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 will be going on sale went on sale on Thursday, May 2, at 19:00 EST (US) / Friday, May 3, at 08:00 JST (Japan).

There will be an exclusive presale for those who had Jedi Master VIP tickets to Celebration Europe 2023 taking place on Wednesday, May 1, at 12:00 EST (US) / 01:00 JST (Japan).

Adult tickets cost $168.85 for 3-Day badges and $58.85 for single day badges.

Kids tickets cost $42.35 for 3-Day badges and $20.35 for single day badges.

The LYTE ticket exchange has not yet been announced but I would expect it to return next year as we get closer to the event. If you are trading tickets privately please be careful as the email that you used to buy the badge is linked to your panel and exclusive lotteries so make sure you discuss and agree with the seller to have this changed with ReedPOP.

HOTEL BLOCK

An official hotel block with discount rates is coming according to the official FAQ. Hopefully it will be better value than last year's block, which was obscenely high priced and you were better off booking directly with the hotels.

EVENT TIMES

Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 will take place Friday April 18th - Sunday April 20th 2025 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, just outside Tokyo.

The Show Floor hours are:

Friday 09:00-18:00
Saturday 09:00-18:00
Sunday 09:00-16:00

Jedi Masters will have access to the Show Floor, and VIP Lounge from 08:45 each morning.

The Panels

First Details on New Virtual Queuing System Revealed

Even without The Star Wars Show (what happened?!) there's still some big Celebration news today as eager fans across America began to receive their badges and the first information on the new queueing system. Whilst the full details of the new system haven't been revealed yet, it looks like Celebration's infamous overnight line ups (seen above in an image from WDW Info) are now a thing of the past. The Resistance Broadcast's Lacey Gilleran shared pictures of her VIP badge today (featuring some great Qui-Gon Jinn artwork) which came bearing the message Activate your badge now to maximize your SWCC Experience! StarWarsCelebration.com/Activate The link takes you to a GrowTix page that essentially tells you that your Celebration badge is your first step into a larger world. When you activate your badge (using the code under the QR barcode as seen in the picture below) you will automatically be chosen to battle for the Light or Dark side of the Force. Yea

Lightspeed Details! Lotteries, Panel Reservations & Virtual Lines

There's been lots of information revealed today so let's start with the big one! No opinions here, just the facts as best as I can work them out. You can (and should!) read the full article over at the official site , but here's my hopefully simplified breakdown. NOW UPDATED with new information from the Celebration website Panels There will be 3 types of panel entry at Celebration Chicago. Lottery. Online Reservation. And good old fashioned queuing. Which type depends on which panel you want to see. Celebration Stage - Morning Lottery The main panel each day will be the morning panel held on the Celebration Stage. For these four panels an online lottery will open on Friday March 29th and run through to 23:59 central time on Thursday April 4th.
