Celebration Art Show 2025

 

One of my favorite parts of Star Wars Celebration! The Star Wars Celebration Art Show features around 20 pieces of art from artists all around the world with something for almost every taste and budget.

Each print is usually limited to 250 pieces with 200 available to pre-order from Dark Ink and 50 saved for sale at the show (along with any that don't sell out during pre-order). Pre-sales for the most popular pieces often selling out within a few hours of going on sale so pre-ordering is highly recommended if you really want a particular piece.

When the art show is announced you will be able to see all of the pieces below, along with pricing and a link to the Dark Ink pre-order site.

First Details on New Virtual Queuing System Revealed

Even without The Star Wars Show (what happened?!) there's still some big Celebration news today as eager fans across America began to receive their badges and the first information on the new queueing system. Whilst the full details of the new system haven't been revealed yet, it looks like Celebration's infamous overnight line ups (seen above in an image from WDW Info) are now a thing of the past. The Resistance Broadcast's Lacey Gilleran shared pictures of her VIP badge today (featuring some great Qui-Gon Jinn artwork) which came bearing the message Activate your badge now to maximize your SWCC Experience! StarWarsCelebration.com/Activate The link takes you to a GrowTix page that essentially tells you that your Celebration badge is your first step into a larger world. When you activate your badge (using the code under the QR barcode as seen in the picture below) you will automatically be chosen to battle for the Light or Dark side of the Force. Yea

Lightspeed Details! Lotteries, Panel Reservations & Virtual Lines

There's been lots of information revealed today so let's start with the big one! No opinions here, just the facts as best as I can work them out. You can (and should!) read the full article over at the official site , but here's my hopefully simplified breakdown. NOW UPDATED with new information from the Celebration website Panels There will be 3 types of panel entry at Celebration Chicago. Lottery. Online Reservation. And good old fashioned queuing. Which type depends on which panel you want to see. Celebration Stage - Morning Lottery The main panel each day will be the morning panel held on the Celebration Stage. For these four panels an online lottery will open on Friday March 29th and run through to 23:59 central time on Thursday April 4th. The lottery will also cover the live streaming of the main panels to the Galaxy and Twin Suns Stages.
