Celebration Updates

Hello there!

Bit of a general post today capturing all the recent updates across the site as we get closer to heading to Japan!

First up, if you haven't already transferred tickets to any friends and family in your party the official social media accounts posted an update advising that this needs to be done by 12pm ET on the day of the reservations in order for them to have access so make sure you do that ahead of the Lightning Lane reservations tomorrow! And definitely before Panel Reservations next week!

LEGO has been added to the Exhibitor List and the Vendor Exclusives page after their attendance was confirmed by the official site. They promise brick builds, hands-on events, and exclusive giveaways at their booth on the show floor. What form the exclusive giveaways will take is still unknown.

And speaking of giveaways! The new @starwarsaunz account has been launched on Instagram and they are giving away for three lucky fans from Australia and New Zealand to win a trip Star Wars Celebration Japan! Each winner will receive two 3-day adult passes, along with a 7-day trip to Japan including return flights and accommodation! So any fans from Australia or New Zealand, make sure you head over and enter!

Last Friday also saw the release of the Will Call hours for Celebration Japan and those in Tokyo ahead of the event will be pleased to know you'll be able to collect your tickets as early as Tuesday, April 15. I've started the Will Call and Entry Guide and will update it as we learn more. But here are the times when you can collect your badges for the event:

Tuesday 10:00-19:00
Wednesday 08:00-19:00
Thursday 08:00-20:00
Friday 07:00-18:00
Saturday 07:00-18:00
Sunday 07:30-16:00

The Collecting Track is back again for Celebration Japan and earlier this month they revealed that this year's panel giveaway will be acrylic stand figures! Inspired by the Japanese Popy World Hero boxed figures from 1980 these stand figures will also come with an acrylic box and display stand able to display the figure in front of or inside the box. I'll be adding all of the reveals to the Collecting Track post as they come.

The Vendor Exclusives page has also received an update as Official Pix has revealed exclusive metallix prints that can be ordered as part of their online service for fans who can't attend Star Wars Celebration. Sadly it appears these won't be available for fans to buy at the show so if you want one you'll have to order it for delivery after the event.

And finally, a couple of fan events updates! I've updated the Not-So-Virtual Cantina post with the newly announced details of a standby line and added the Tennessee Star Wars Collector's Club Meet Up & SWAG Event taking place on Saturday, April 19. I've also added another fan club exclusive event, the Tokyo Disneyland Invasion on Wednesday, April 16.

We're just 37 days away at this point so we can expect the news to be coming thick and fast over the next few weeks. For everyone taking part in the Lightspeed Lane and Panel Reservations, may the Force be with you!
