Mobile App Launched, Droid Hunt Returns and Floor Maps Revealed for Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025
We are heading into the home stretch and the last 24 hours has seen a whole host of updates.
If you’ve ordered photo ops or autographs you will have received an email telling you that your order has now been updated with your group and time so check those asap because if you have a clash it’s very easy to switch dates (provided the other dates/times aren’t sold out).
The Star Wars Celebration mobile app has been updated for Japan and is available now for both iOS and Android. The official app gives you quick access to the panel schedule, show floor and entry maps, FAQ, accessibility information and more, plus it can send you push notifications ahead of those panels and events that you don’t want to miss.
You won’t be able to register your badge until you pick them up on site but you can still register your email which will give you access to another returning event - Droid Hunt!
Hidden throughout the seven halls that make up the show floor will be seven droid images with a QR code for you to scan using the “Droid Scan” button in the app. Find the hidden seven, scan the eighth droid at the redemption center in Hall 7, and claim your bounty! There will be Droid Hunt signs throughout Halls 1-7 to help guide you on the hunt. In London the prize for completing the droid hunt was an exclusive poster.
Lastly, for this post at least, the official Celebration website has posted maps for both the show floor and for where fans will be lining up each morning. Full entry procedures have not yet been announced but I have added the entrance map to my entry guide and will update it as soon as the full guidelines are announced. I’ve also added the main show floor map to the main Celebration Preparation page.
We are so close now! I just hope the show store reveals get posted before I fly so I can get them all uploaded here before I go! This really is where the fun begins!
