The Legend Returns! Anthony Daniels is Coming to Celebration!


Just when you thought the guest list was complete, Celebration brings back a Star Wars legend!

Anthony Daniels, the only actor to appear in every Star Wars film (and pretty much every animated series as well) is returning to Celebration for a special panel as well as a unique meet and greet experience for his fans.


On Sunday at 17:15, Anthony Daniels will take to the Galaxy Stage for an hour to regale fans with tales from over four decades of being C-3PO. If you're lucky, he might even read you the story of how he got his red arm.

On Saturday and Sunday, fans from around the galaxy will have a chance to meet the man himself in a special meet and greet experience in room W190A. In this unique experience you will be able to get an autograph, take a selfie, and say hello in however many forms of communication you know how.

Unlike other autographs and photo ops, this special experience cannot be bought in advance and must be paid for on the day in cash. The private meet and greet sessions cost $100 and are first-come, first-served.

UPDATED - The official site has removed the line about being able to take a selfie with your favourite protocol droid. It doesn't hurt to ask on the day, but please be mindful this is no longer a guaranteed part of the experience.

Funko Exclusives Announced for Star Wars Celebration 2022

  Funko went all out for May the 4th, revealing the multitude of  Star Wars Celebration exclusives coming from Funko and Loungefly. First up is the Diamond Glitter Grogu. Limited to 5000 pieces, this is a shared exclusive with other ReedPOP conventions this year. Classic A New Hope  versions of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and a Stormtrooper will be available as single POP figures and a 5-Pack featuring all the figures on one stand. The singles will cost $12 and the 5-Pack will cost $59.99. The 5-Pack is a shared exclusive with Amazon. The singles are divided between multiple retailers. Luke at Box Lunch, Leia at FYE, Chewie at Target, Stormtrooper at Gamestop, and Vader is a Funko web exclusive. Entry to Celebration, Will Call & ADA

  This guide is still very much work in progress ahead of official announcements but here is what we know so far. UPDATED 05/17/22 - Official Entrance Procedures released  (Health Check) UPDATED 05/19/22 - Official Entrance Procedures updated with line up details The Basics To enter Star Wars Celebration you must have a valid badge (of course!) Everyone will go through metal detectors and bag check on entry. Fans are free to come in costume and bring whatever they need, just be aware that the less you have with you, the faster you will clear security. Everyone attending will be required to wear approved face covering whilst at Celebration.
