Hotel Block Opens for VIPs Tomorrow, Standard Ticket Holders on Thursday

Almost two years after the initial hotel sale the official Star Wars Celebration hotel block will be opening up again this week.

This time ReedPOP are doing things slightly differently with ticket holders getting early access this week before the general public gain access next week.

Jedi Master VIPs get first access from 12:00 PM PT tomorrow, June 1.

All other badge holders will then be able to book their rooms from 12:00 PM PT on Thursday, June 3rd.

And finally general public access will begin next week at 12:00 PM PT on Thursday, June 10th.

Quite how this early access will work hasn't been revealed yet. Access emails should be sent out to all ticket holders ahead of the sale time that will include instructions on how to access the hotel block. These should be linked to your ticket purchase so even those who don't receive email updates should get the email.

Because of the the new early access VIPs should have no problem getting the room of their choice, even in the super popular connecting hotels. Even standard ticket holders should (hopefully) have an easier time getting a room of their choice than they did 2 years ago.

And remember, this is Anaheim. There are far more hotels within walking distance than there was in Chicago. Here's the immediate vicinity of the Anaheim Convention Center (ignore the prices, they're from 2019):

And if you widen that out to show the Disneyland area:

Even if you can't get a room to your liking through the official hotel block, there will be plenty of hotels to choose from and, as we're a year out, most hotels are just now opening up their direct reservations (a big difference to Chicago where most hotels were sold out before the official rooms went on sale).

Good luck, and may the Force be with you.
