Entry to Celebration, Will Call & ADA
This guide is still very much work in progress ahead of official announcements but here is what we know so far.
UPDATED 05/17/22 - Official Entrance Procedures released (Health Check)
UPDATED 05/19/22 - Official Entrance Procedures updated with line up details
The Basics
To enter Star Wars Celebration you must have a valid badge (of course!)
Everyone will go through metal detectors and bag check on entry. Fans are free to come in costume and bring whatever they need, just be aware that the less you have with you, the faster you will clear security.
Everyone attending will be required to wear approved face covering whilst at Celebration.
Vaccination & Covid Test Checks
This year all attendees will need to provide either proof of full vaccination from an FDA or WHO approved or authorized vaccine OR a negative test with a timestamp showing it was performed no more than 1 day before entry (antigen) or 2 days before entry (PCR).
There will be two locations for these checks. The main location is the Marquis Ballroom at the Anaheim Marriott (700 W Convention Way). The is also a secondary check point on Katella Avenue, outside the Anaheim Convention Center.
If you already have your badge you can use either location. If you are collecting your badge from Will Call you will need to do your check in the Marquis Ballroom (where you can do it before or after collecting your badge, also in the ballroom).
Health and Safety Check hours are:
Wednesday 14:00-20:00
Thursday 6:00-19:00
Friday 6:00-19:00
Saturday 6:00-19:00
Sunday 6:00-16:30
Once your vaccination/negative test has been verified you will receive a wristband that you will need to wear for all days of Celebration. You will need to re-verify your vaccination/test if you remove or lose your wristband.
ReedPOP have partnered with CLEAR Health Pass for the event. If eligible for CLEAR Pass you can follow this link or scan the QR code on the Celebration website. This option can be used for both proof of vaccination and proof of negative test. Full details and FAQ about CLEAR Pass are on the Celebration website.
Alternatively vaccinated can provide proof of vaccination using a government issued vaccination record (paper or photo) or MyIRmobile. Fans providing proof of negative test, and not using CLEAR Pass, must show either a negative rapid antigen COVID-19 test administered and timestamped no more than 1 day prior to entry, or a negative lab PCR COVID-19 test administered and timestamped no more than 2 days prior to entry. Tests must be administered by a health professional, at-home tests will not be accepted.
