Rancho Obi-Wan Confirms Celebration Attendance


Rancho Obi-Wan, the incredible museum showcasing the world's largest Star Wars collection, have confirmed they will be at Celebration next month!

Posting on social media the Rancho Obi-Wan team announced a galactic experience for fans of all ages:


This year Rancho Obi-Wan will be presenting The Saga Museum. Taking place in 3rd Floor Room 304B, the main exhibit will be "Boba Fett to Bo-Katan: The Evolution of the Mandalorians". The museum will also have other exhibits including "What's in a Name", "Ten Years of Rancho Obi-Wan", "Cascading Grogu in Ombre", and the "History of Star Tots".

The Rancho Obi-Wan website also says that the spinning wheel, fundraising raffle, and their general store (with all new merchandise) will be back this year, along with all new trading cards!

So make sure you put some time aside to visit between panels as you're bound to see some items that will bring back many fond memories.

First Details on New Virtual Queuing System Revealed

Even without The Star Wars Show (what happened?!) there's still some big Celebration news today as eager fans across America began to receive their badges and the first information on the new queueing system. Whilst the full details of the new system haven't been revealed yet, it looks like Celebration's infamous overnight line ups (seen above in an image from WDW Info) are now a thing of the past. The Resistance Broadcast's Lacey Gilleran shared pictures of her VIP badge today (featuring some great Qui-Gon Jinn artwork) which came bearing the message Activate your badge now to maximize your SWCC Experience! StarWarsCelebration.com/Activate The link takes you to a GrowTix page that essentially tells you that your Celebration badge is your first step into a larger world. Funko Exclusives Announced for Star Wars Celebration 2022

  Funko went all out for May the 4th, revealing the multitude of  Star Wars Celebration exclusives coming from Funko and Loungefly. First up is the Diamond Glitter Grogu. Limited to 5000 pieces, this is a shared exclusive with other ReedPOP conventions this year. Classic A New Hope  versions of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and a Stormtrooper will be available as single POP figures and a 5-Pack featuring all the figures on one stand. The singles will cost $12 and the 5-Pack will cost $59.99. The 5-Pack is a shared exclusive with Amazon. The singles are divided between multiple retailers. Luke at Box Lunch, Leia at FYE, Chewie at Target, Stormtrooper at Gamestop, and Vader is a Funko web exclusive.
