We are in the home stretch! Literally 2 months to go until Celebration is back!!

Sorry for the lack of updates, between a long delayed trip to Walt Disney World and some big changes to my job the start of this year has been an absolute whirlwind. Whilst I was away the first two (now three) waves of guests were announced and we've got the first bits of information on entry to the event. Sure it was just the Will Call hours but the entry guide is now coming together.

Still no official re-seller, but a "limited number" of single day tickets were put back on sale at the end of January and have yet to sell out so all days are now available again.

We've started to see a few exhibitor's like In Demand Toys confirm their attendance, and several podcasters, including The Resistance Broadcast, Star Wars Explained, and Fantha Tracks, have revealed they will be part of the new Holonet News Stage. The Podcast Stage was the first panel announcement for Celebration Anaheim last year so hopefully we'll get this year's full lineup soon!

I still have a few updates to do - like Hasbro's exclusive Revenge of the Jedi Darth Vader and fan event updates - but I'm getting caught up. Which is a good job as we're heading into that time where news just starts flooding in!

First Details on New Virtual Queuing System Revealed

Even without The Star Wars Show (what happened?!) there's still some big Celebration news today as eager fans across America began to receive their badges and the first information on the new queueing system. Whilst the full details of the new system haven't been revealed yet, it looks like Celebration's infamous overnight line ups (seen above in an image from WDW Info) are now a thing of the past. The Resistance Broadcast's Lacey Gilleran shared pictures of her VIP badge today (featuring some great Qui-Gon Jinn artwork) which came bearing the message Activate your badge now to maximize your SWCC Experience! StarWarsCelebration.com/Activate The link takes you to a GrowTix page that essentially tells you that your Celebration badge is your first step into a larger world. Funko Exclusives Announced for Star Wars Celebration 2022

  Funko went all out for May the 4th, revealing the multitude of  Star Wars Celebration exclusives coming from Funko and Loungefly. First up is the Diamond Glitter Grogu. Limited to 5000 pieces, this is a shared exclusive with other ReedPOP conventions this year. Classic A New Hope  versions of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and a Stormtrooper will be available as single POP figures and a 5-Pack featuring all the figures on one stand. The singles will cost $12 and the 5-Pack will cost $59.99. The 5-Pack is a shared exclusive with Amazon. The singles are divided between multiple retailers. Luke at Box Lunch, Leia at FYE, Chewie at Target, Stormtrooper at Gamestop, and Vader is a Funko web exclusive. Ralph McQuarrie's iconic concept art will also be represented with Concept Series POPs of Darth Vader and a 2-Pack of R2-D2 and C-3PO.
